Shane Klingensmith. Ahhh. It's interesting to know he's from this part of town. I mean, I literally live right around the corner from where he lives. I'm sooo tempted to go to his mom's timeshare and see if she'll give me an autographed photo.

You've never had Beverly before?

:earseek:

Actually - we have a friend who is a CM (manager at one of the restaurants in MGM) who we met up with in EPCOT one night - he had never tried it either! heheheh Of course we made him! :)

Think about it though...the show SHOWED psycho mom Klingensmith on the job...she's probably getting all these people coming in to look at condos/timeshares (whatever she hocks) just to see if she is that pyscho...and she's thinking it's because she's such a good saleswomen!

:rotfl: :rotfl:

oh yeah - and those girls couldn't dance their way out of a paper bag! And "mom" actually said "Shane isn't here today to 'distract' the girls...cause they like to stare at him rather then practice"

GET OVER YOURSELF!!!!

Hmmmm..I must admit, I am no longer thinking that Jordan Mosley's mother is so perfect:( She is putting herself before her daughter by having her out so late at night. She needs a more stable environment to do well at school. Her mom expects this little girl to "hunker down"....Ah, try not having her out so late, mom.

Anybody hear Shane's mom snap and tell one of the "dancer" girls not to act like an idiot? I think she has a real mean streak.

Will comment on the others when I have more time.

Ok, time for me to weigh in...

I have always liked little Jordan and her mom, they always seemed so down to earth, but I did have a problem with the way the schoolwork was handled. It was great of mom to tell her that if the work was going down the tubes, that she wouldn't be able to go on any more auditions, but then for her to have her out so late, knowing full well that she had homework to be done, I thought was a little crazy. She did, however, back herself up when she said that Jordan was at her office for an hour before they left, and could have gotten a bunch of the work knocked out.

I felt bad for big Jordan. Yes, she is a snot, but she obviously comes from a dysfunctional home. I guess I would be a little ticked off too, if my mom came home one night and said "Meet my fiancee". I think that she does like acting, and wants to keep doing it, because maybe it is a release for everything that is inside of her.

I didn't mind the Tye's very much last night. I thought Emily looked beautiful at the pageant, and it was nice to see mom so excited that she got 3rd runner up, and was not the winner. She looked much nicer in the toned down dress and no "pageant hair or makeup".

The Nutter family, what more is there to say????? Was anyone else disturbed when the dad kept telling the girls to bend over more when they were bowling??

And now, on to Shane. When he and his lovely mom were on, the thing that I found absolutely hilarious was when they were talking to the mom at the YMCA after the guy kicked them out of the room, and one of the dancer girls kept walking behind her, looking right at the camera, and spinning her cowboy hat on a stick!!! I had TiVo'ed it, and just kept rewinding it and laughing. One of those "If mom only knew" moments! If Shane likes what he is doing, then fine, let him do it, but eventually he is going to find out that he has no talent!! And when he and mom find that out, I hope none of us are nowhere near them (but I hope it would be on tape, so we can all watch that train wreck together!!).

Can't wait for the aftermath tonight. BTW, did anyone see how nice Emily's mom looked on the aftermath with a "normal" hairdo (not all the kinky frizzies!!).

Not really...I (and I think most people here) have him pegged as playing for the 'home team'...so no biggie.

heheheh - no flames - we've all said it here at one time or another!

I also have him pegged as batting for the other team, but I just thought his comments to them were kind of humiliating.

Ohhhhh yes..... ::yes:: he's more girly then I am!

He also screamed idiot at the kids more than once, he's so wrapped up in his little world that he's not seeing what he's doing to his kids!

The only thing is, I wonder how much of that is a lie from Jordan. She doesn't seem to be an overly trustworthy kid, to be honest with you. She kept telling people she had studied her lines, etc. when in reality she was just laying around watching tv. A lot of that attitude may be her age, a lot of it may be her "diva" side.

I'm not sure, I think when kids are really upset they tend to act out more and have bigger attitudes. In her case I can see that happening. Her mom isn't supportive at all from what I've seen and tends to be pretty manic. That's going to wear a kid down after awhile!

Mr. Nutty reminds me way too much of my sister's ex. Trust me he is scary!

If DD dance teacher acted anything like Shane's Mom we would be at a different studio. Maybe that's why she is not teaching dance anymore.

I still like little Jordan. Being a single mom is so hard and she did say Jordan could have finished some of the work at the office. Not a perfect situation but the real world is not perfect.

Did the mom actually leave Jordan in the house alone with only friends to check on her? Isn't that neglect? I must have miss understood about that.

Poor Emily. She did look so pretty as did her brother. I wonder what the dad thinks of the whole pagent thing?

Big Jordan definately is a brat but she doesn't have the best of examples in her mother. That women was swearing and yelling and carrying on in the car everytime they showed them driving. I told DH to smack me if I ever talk like that in front of DS. I feel sorry for Big Jordan. I think her mom found a man and dropped her daughter. It's kind of sad. Jordan actually made some sense when she was saying that Mom's DH will divorce her, Mom will come back to LA and have nothing. Jordan can see the writing on the wall and I'm sure it's because it's happened before. :(

Momma Tye didn't bug me as much last night. She only criticized Emily a little. I am curious how the follow up show will be.

I can't say much about Shane. He has zero talent and mom is WAY over the top. Scary actually!
The back up dancers were cracking me up! And did the parents of these girls just let them fly across the country with "Shane's Mom" to perform in Vegas? Isn't that a little odd?

Oh I forgot about the Nuttys.
Mr. Nutter is a big baby and the family goes along with it to avoid his whining. When they were bowling 1/2 the kids just looked miserable. Poor Grace, she is going to need therapy.

I think alot of those children on that show last night are going to need therapy at one time or another in their future.

nothing wrong with it...just sad the way they are being pushed.
:cough: emily tye :cough:

I'm watching the re-run again now. I couldn't help but laugh at Shane's dancing...his arms flailing with no real direction...:p I could see him maybe working in print ads though, just not cut for entertainment! :confused3
