I too miss the 90's. I was still a baby and had no concept of having a job.
Sure, gas prices were better. But I don't miss the house payment I had in the 1990s or the daycare and private school tuition bills.I do - I miss gas being $1.10 a gallon and inflation being half the rate it is now. And I also miss the 90s since my kiddos were babies then!!
I should specify that IMO sitcoms were much better. Seinfeld, Frasier, Cheers, Murphy Brown, The Nanny (not great but had laughs), Third Rock from the Sun, Just Shoot Me...Wow. Not saying TV is great now, but the 1990's don't strike me as one of TVs strongest decades. Of course I was raising kids in the 1990's so my TV usually had Salute Your Shorts, Guts, Double Dare on it.
I guess I can blame my kids. I have seen a few episodes of Murphy Brown and Cheers. I tried to watch Seinfeld but never made it through a whole episode, never watched Frasier and the Nanny.I should specify that IMO sitcoms were much better. I miss 30¢ (32¢ for ethyl (what we called premium back then)) a gallon gas from the 50's, 60's and early 70's.I miss gas being $1.10 a gallon
The 90s were pretty depressing between grunge music and the TV shows on during the time. However, I do think WDW peaked for me during that period of time. Can we go back to the 90s I want to go to Best Buy and look at cameras trying to find one online is not cutting it for me

Those seem to be the clips people post most and no, no laughs here. Just a little bewilderment. No laughs?
So it’s more about the type of comedy. Those seem to be the clips people post most and no, no laughs here. Just a little bewilderment.
Nope. I kind of liked edgy shows that were a mix of comedy and drama. Hill Street Blues, St. Elsewhere, etc.So it’s more about the type of comedy.
Boy meets world was a 90’s show as well. Maybe you would enjoy that type of comedy more?
I can understand that. I’m just curious if have seen Friends before? I haven’t met anyone who really disliked that 90’s show. If your not a fan, no worries. I just think your family might enjoy the reruns.Nope. I kind of liked edgy shows that were a mix of comedy and drama. Hill Street Blues, St. Elsewhere, etc.
Have not seen it. Well, bits and pieces, and the snippets I have seen weren't such that I stayed to watch the entire episode. Like I said, I was busy raising kids in the 1990s, so my time was occupied with that. And now in retirement, they still don't interest me.I can understand that. With RAW files exposure can sometimes be fixed 2 or 3 stops but anything more than that you’re going to pay the price with nasty artifacts and noise. The average cellphone photographer doesn’t typically shoot in RAW. Out of focus? Nah. Slight, sure but outright, no. In both cases you can’t fix data that just isn’t there.Well, at least with photography, with modern cellphone cameras and software, you don't have to be a good photographer to get good photos.
Out of focus? The software can fix it.
Over exposed? The software can fix it.
Color off? The software can fix it.
Unwanted person or thing in your photo? My daughter's cellphone camera has software to fix that. (Although sometimes it can yield bizarre results).
Speaking from a Professional standpoint. I was appalled at some of the artificial and over processed looks I was seeing on the air before I retired. But apparently THAT is the exact look many young professional photographers want. We hired a few folks with degrees from Art Institutes and they really didn't like what I would consider to be "normal" photography with crisp colors and sharp focus. With RAW files exposure can sometimes be fixed 2 or 3 stops but anything more than that you’re going to pay the price with nasty artifacts and noise. That said my iPhone has machine processing and will “fix” things as the photo is taken. I hate that I can’t turn it off because the result often looks artificial and over processed. Night mode is the same thing- a series of photos piled on top of each other and merged to make a “good” one. Again for the average consumer this is a good thing but when you know your way around exposure in can be infuriating.
