I'm sitting here at my desk writing out my grocery list for the big Thanksgiving Day meal, which I'm not even going shopping for until next week. I have another list going of stuff that needs to be accomplished around the house this weekend before the guests arrive, and another list with the Thanksgiving day menu and who is bringing what. :thumbsup2

Who else besides me is a little nutso with making lists?!?

Well lately if I didn't make lists I would never get anything done. I would just walk around thinking about carrot cake all of the time or something.

I am the queen of lists. I've been doing this since I was a kid. I found it lowered my stress level tremendously because my mind wasn't constantly having to go over things. Plus, I get a weird sense of satisfaction when I've completed something and can cross it off my list.

Nuh-huh, not me...I love to have a reason to run to the store at 5am on Turkey day and do hand-to-hand combat with others for the last can of cranberry sauce. :headache:

I beg to differ. I am the queen of lists - I even make lists of what lists I need to make!:rotfl: I am lost without a list - everything would get forgotten.

I am the KING of Listers!:cool1: I write list for everything, what to buy, what to do in the house, What todo at work...LIST LIST LISTS...:3dglasses all over da place.

However I am always loosing my Lists and just walk around aimlessly saying "Whadda I do, Whadda I do, Where do I go?":confused3

1. I
2. like
3. to
4. make
5. lists
6. too.

:)

Seriously, I have a list for everything! For my Thanksgiving food list I even have it categorized by food type so I know what I need to get in each section of the grocery store - - "Bakery", "Meats", "Dairy" and so on - - to prevent having to backtrack.

my mom is the list queen seriously she is obsessed with lists, but she never seems to finish crossing off everything on them.
I like lists sometimes I guess.

I like to make lists because...;)

1- It keeps me organized
2- It's fun to do
3- It makes my life easier
4- If I get sick my family can just take the list and carry on
5- Everyone in my family now depends on my lists

I'm right there with ya... my list is also made out in the order that it comes within the grocery store. So first on the lists is the fresh veggies, then bakery, etc.

I always make lists. I make lists for everything. It keeps me organized.

My DH always teases me about my lists and says that I even make a list of my lists. :rotfl2: ha ha ha, he's so funny!

nope, I'm a fly by the seat of my pants kinda girl:banana:

Another list maker here. I categorize all of my lists on my PDA: "Work," "Short-Term Home," "Long-Term Home," "Gifts," "Christmas," "DD," "DS," etc. etc. With all of these lists, you'd think I'd be more organized. 'Tis a pity that it's not so in my case. :rotfl2:

I make grocery lists and task lists. It keeps me from forgetting things that I need or need to do.

I've never met a list I didn't like! For today, I had a list of things to do at work, one for once I get home, and one for "ongoing life." Don't get me started on my Disney lists: packing, carry-on packing, ADRs, pics to take, etc. Lists are my security blanket!

I'm so glad to see that other people do this too. However, I'm so crazy, I actually have my grocery list organized by aisle. Maybe we should start a support group.

I am a list-maker and a note-writer. In front of me right now are no less than five piles of notepads and scrap paper. Some of the papers have lists on them, some have notes, and some are blank.
