That was the first thing tossed around at this house when it ended and they showed previews starting in JANUARY, 2006!!! Ugg, the pain of withdrawal.

I have a question. What the heck ever happened to the teenager Arab boy? Last thing I remember was he was used in an exchange. Then he just disappeared from the story line.

Looks like next year will be 24 meets the Fugitive.

I really can't stand that new president they have there. What a jerk!!

And when they told Audrey that Jack was dead?? She was all freaked out--I was so happy, she deserved it!!

I can see 2 things happen next season.
1. Jack becomes an "anonymous" almost mercernary...trying to help CTU and the country, without disclosing who he is. Only certain people may guess that is who is tipping them and helping them.
2. Jack does something to help the Chinese govt. while in hiding that will clear his name.

Yeah what happened to Beru (yeah I know it's spelled wrong!). They gave him to the terrorists in exchange for Jack and we never saw him again. We can presume he died, but seemed like an error on the writers' parts.

Well I predicted Jack would die and I guess I was sort of right, lol.

She deserved it?? That's completely heartless!!! She had a horrific day and you think she deserves to believe that someone she cares for is dead? She was kidnapped, decided to kill herself, rescued, chased & shot at, confronted with the presumed guilt of her husband, watched her boyfriend torture her husband, watched hubby & bf go off together to confront bad guys, saw hubby & bf pinned down and trapped by elite mercenaries, learned that hubby was shot saving bf's life, learned that hubby was paralyzed, found out bf tortured someone else, decided to help hubby recover, watched bf force doctor to abandon hubby, watched hubby die, was forced to lie about bf's activities to chinese gov't, told bf she loved him but couldn't be with him after all that... then... after all that in 24 hours, she's told that her bf was shot and killed. Now... you go through that and tell me if you aren't a little scattered. No one deserves to be told that a loved one is dead.

I totally agree with you. I know people think she is whiny, but she had one awful day, and I'd like to see anyone else react better under those circumstances. I felt so bad for her.

I too have still been wondering what happened to Berouz, I guess we assume he is dead???

Also, at that time, Marwan said he wasn't sure what he would do with Behrooz once he had him. That's the 9pm-10pm hour.

I agree she had a tough day. What I am looking at is how she was in love with Jack, and no way interested in Paul. She was so solid on that. Then, she flips over, and won't even give Jack the option to talk about it after the dust settles. I won't even go into what he went through...we all know what happened to him. He admitted what a tough day it was for all, and how he wanted to sort thru all of the feelings. She wouldn't even give him that. I don't know about you, but THAT was HEARTLESS!!

It would have been nice for them to close that story line, I was thinking he may come into play and help Jack later but I quess not. It could go either way, after the day he had he either becomes a terrorist or a good guy but who knows if they'll ever mention him again.

Plus, everyone's judging her by what we have all known about Jack for 4 years now. She didn't know that about him and she had to find it out by watching him torture her husband. Talk about a wake-up call. I don't know how that couldn't mess with someone's resolve.

I personally didn't really like the promo for next season with the "day 1 he saves this, day 2 this..." I guess I just remember the days differently. I'll be interested to see what's next and who is brought in on the secret of Jack's continued existence.

I thought it was great. When Mandy was on the phone with Michelle, I was screaming at the TV - "it's a set up"!!!!!!!!!

I hope "Tony" comes back too. He and Jack are great together.
