Who else is still sick......

I have been sick for a week now. My cough can be deep at times (think bronchitis), but not consistent. I am sneezing and blowing *stuff* and I just feel *blah*. So, for those of you that have been there and done this, how long does this *crud* last????? I am a lousey patient and am sick of being sick!!!! aw:

I have been slightly under the weather for weeks now...every morning I wake up with a very sore throat and my sinuses/nose clogged. I do feel better after drinking something and getting up. Wish it would go away!

I had the same thing and I finally went to the doc. Got some antibiotics and some great cough medicine. I'm feeling much better but still coughing some. Doc told me the cough could last 2-3 weeks....

Sounds just like me! DH too, but he's better. I am home today. Got a migraine on top of this other stuff!

I hope you all feel better soon. I am breaking down and going to the doctor's tomorrow. I have off this week and seem to just be feeling worse each day........what a way to spend my vacation! Oh well, at least there is the DIS to keep me occupied! aw:

Checking in from the phlegm factory! I've been sick for a month and the respiratory part just isn't getting better. I've been on antibiotics & codeine cough syrup and it still is like being stabbed with a knife with each cough. Most of my office is sick too.

Mine started with laryngitis and then bronchitis. After 5 weeks and 2 antibiotics I have finally gotten better, but still have occasional coughing jags. I need warm weather to cure me. Nancy

DH started to get sick on our last day at WDW almost five days ago. He is still complaining he is not getting better, but worse. He has a cough, stuffy head, and maybe at this point a sinus infection. Then DS has been fighting off rotavirus. For anyone who knows what this is in a toddler - you know its just not pretty. I can't wait to go back to work to get some rest.

I had bronchitis a month ago, got antibiotics and felt better after a couple of days, but the cough just went away last week. Well, then last Thursday someone who had been out all week sick came in just to go to the Christmas party....and now I am sick again.

Okay, I gave up. After two weeks of misery I finally went to the doctor today. Normally, she tells me to be patient and give my body a chance to heal itself. Not today!!! She fusses at me for waiting so long!?! I have an ear infection, sinus infection, throat irritation, and upper respiratory infection.
The kicker is that I have yet to run any fever. I have two rounds of a Z-pack to take, along with Entex PSE. Who knew I was so sick???? Doctor's orders were to come home and get in bed. Guess this is close enough to bed, don't you think? Hope everyone else is starting to feel better.

I NEVER catch colds. Geesh, I work in a hospital (with kids, no less!) and I'm NEVER sick. So when my throat was sore about 1 1/2 weeks ago, I thought I was having reflux...took my reflux pills....started coughing, thought I must REALLY be refluxin' bad....nose got runny, though my allergies were really acting up.....BIG FAT DUH! I have a common, everyday cold. I wish it would go away! I'm so tired and whiny about this trivial thing!!

DS was truly in the spirit of giving this year... and gave DS his cold... DW his cold... and me too!!! He's still coughing. Everyone else is stuffed up and coughing. It looks like we'll bring in 2006 with the sounds of coughs and sneezes!

Gosh, I hope everyone is feeling better soon. I am going to the doctor's this morning. I hope he has a magic wand to make me feel better. I feel like I have the flu, bronchitis and a head cold all in one. To top it off, last night I got a chappy-kind-of rash on my face. I love it when I have time off from work and spend it sick. Go figure!!!
