I'm dreaming of our August trip this morning especially since we've had 3 decent snow storms in the last few weeks and it was -2 degrees this morning when I woke up!! I would much rather be sweating at WDW in August .

We will be staying in a THV from August 14th thru August 19th. Anyone else have a trip booked for the Hottest Place on Earth??

Go every August - this will be our 5th in a row. It's hot but doable. Lots of pool time, which is why I chose VWL and BCV

We also go in late August most years (this will be our 5th time since 2006 when we did Universal/SW and stayed offsite) -- seems to be the easiest time to go while the kids are on vacation. We would rather be hot with the somewhat lower crowds of late August than attempt to go in June, July or (gasp) Feb. or April with crazy crowds.

Someday I'd like to have a trip when we don't go to the parks. Of course I say that now, but I don't know if I could do it - plus the boys would never go for it! We just started looking at where we want to eat, what we want to do each day, etc. We definitely take it slow and easy since we know we'll be back soon.

Going 8/11-8/16. BLT 2BR LV, my parents are joining us. DD's 5th trip in her 4.5 years of life. Went this past Aug same weekend. It's a bridge of the discounts so we actually felt a dip in crowds on Sat but by Tuesday were glad we were leaving.

And we managed to basically be inside for one hour at DHS--Little Mermaid, Great Movie Ride and character greet at Animation. The heat is rough, but doable. And Chicago had a hot summer last year, so it was not that hard to adjust.

Woo Hoo! ADRs are two weeks away!

DD's 5th trip in her 4.5 years of life.

I chuckled at this because our DS6 is the same way! This will be his 8th trip to WDW/Orlando. Geez, I flew on a plane once as a child (10) and my next flight was when I was 25!!

We will be there in the hot August sun, from the 10th to the 15th. We will spend the first two nights at BWV in a BW view 2 bedroom and then move for the last 3 nights to a 2 bedroom SV room at BLT.

I too can't wait as we have been in a really cold snap for two days. It was -11 when we went to school this morning, with a wind chill of -24. On days like today, I welcome that hot August weather!!!

I am just waiting on my ROFR and then I'll be waiting on my closing and then I'll be waiting on 7-10 days and THEN finally I'll be calling to make my reservation for August!! I'll be past 7 months so I'll be taking whatever is available! Don't know what dates yet.
