I love Dennis Lehane and don't think that Scorsese and DiCaprio can make a bad movie together.

Me either... I saw this preview and stopped everything and looked at DH and went "I'm not going to say much, because you'll never see it coming, but that is an AWESOME book!"

Yep - link worked. I haven't heard anything about it, but that looks like my kind of movie . Kind of old timey like The Prestige and The Illusionist.

Give yourself plenty of time, I couldn't put it down. It's been years since I read it but I might need to reread it...
