Who else is doing the greater than 6 month drag?

We have a small trip to California this summer. We will stop at DL for a couple of days, but it is not WDW!! We have 10 months until a Christmas trip to WDW. I can't wait, we've never been at Christmastime

I have one more week until I can make my ADRs. What a pleasantly confusing time. It seems that we are jumping all over the place this year for our meals. I want to try so many. Oh yeah, we are talking about over 6 months - see ticker - 6 months and 1 week! Can't wait.

You are so brave! 18 wow! Will you stay on-site?

I have total of 6 I'll be booking 3 rooms. My husband and I no problem, my dad will room with my brother, but my mother will room with my brother's girlfriend. Now that could get ugly...and none of them has ever visited Disney.

We are DVC memebers at BWV so I'll be getting 1 grand villa and 2 two bedrooms. We've done this 2 times before so I know what I'm in for!

It's torture! In my mind I'm breaking up the time into segments and that helps me! For example, it's DD's 2nd birthday next month so that will be fun, the month after is Easter and also my eldest son's 12th birthday which is when the SURPRISE will be revealed to the 3 kids so I'm planning for that surprise too! Then May and June will be humdrum but July & August the kids are off school so we'll all do loads of planning together (what rides to do etc. etc.), we'll get fit together (walking, cycling etc) and it will generally be an exciting summer knowing the trip is coming up. Then September is back to school for my boys BUT they'll be going back to school knowing that they have a wonderful holiday just around the corner to look forward to!
So, in short, I definitely think breaking it up into time slots helps!

we were supposed to go november 11th. and so when i started coming here it was 10 months away. now we are going december 2nd. guess what. back to 10 months away. just as i got thru the first month of waiting LOLOL what a drag!

Just over 10 months for us. Thank God I love the apprehension and planning! Gives me a reason to read the boards and obsess! Can't wait!

I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one! We've got a little over 10 months to go for our Christmas 2006 WDW vacation! I actually got so depressed yesterday that I printed out each month's calendar to make a WDW countdown so we can cross the days off each day. WooHoo! We're almost to the 300 day mark! (I need help!)

I'll join the wait. Our dd is always good about waiting but when we start watching our past trips it gets harder. We are taking my parents for their first trip this year and it is so hard not to tell my Mom. Dad already knows but we are giving the tickets, etc to them for their anniversary. I keep trying to talk myself into adding another day since it will be 20 mo before we go back again.

Just under 9 months--I think--til our Wonder cruise and WDW vacation!!!!! It's a surprise for DS who's turning 8 during our trip!! Can't wait!!!!
