We got a call at 7am and was told that my dh is being sent today to the coast for hurrican duty! I usually don't worry about his job being dangerous, but I am really worried about this. And, to top it off, today is our 8th anniversary and we were going to Gatlinburg, TN to celebrate! I guess I could also safely say that our weekend trip to Myrtle Beach, SC is also cancelled... I am NOT having a good day, I am so bummed!

The path of Isabel (if it stays on it's current course) goes right over east central VA, so we're going to get hit with something. Even if it's downgraded to a Tropical Storm, it's still a lot of wind and rain to deal with.

I keep hearing mixed signals. First I hear it is big, then not so big. Yes we will get hit, maybe not so bad. UGH! I don't know what's happening.

We put water in tupperware containers in our freezer. One to keep it colder for longer and two to use if we don't have water. We are having plywood put up on our picture windows. (But am gonna feel really stupid if we don't get it too bad..but would prefer not to get it at all).

Did put gas in the car last night and went to the grocery store. Water and bread were gone. But since we had stocked water I went for the more important diet sodas and cupcakes!!! I decided if I was stuck in the dark for a few days I better have food that will keep my mood up! I can only eat so many cans of cold spagettio's.
