DS has gotten into this "RuneScape" game online, and I get so irritated and say, "Hey! If you're gonna hog the computer you should at least be playing VMK!"

Maybe you can convert him.

Being a member of the boards has helped me tremendously in my community college classes I am taking. I know how to use the internet to the best of my ability, like navigating, collecting information, and some netiquette, and it has been an advantage for me. Now I tell my dh, See, honey, being online is a good thing! lol

I'm supposed to be studying for finals, but here I am DISing away!

Me, I'm addicted too. I am at work(retail) and there is no one in today. So I'm on the DIS (I'm bad). But it's helping the day pass by. and if I wasn't on the DIS I'd be out shopping. The DIS is my therapy for not shopping. I'm saving tons of money by DISing.

You're not alone in your addiction. I'm also a newbie and it doesn't take long to become addicted to the Disboards. DH just rolls his eyes at me.

My DH doesn't understand either. Kicker is he has a very addictive personality. He's addicted to bike riding. He'll say I'm going on a quick loop, and then 80 miles later he's back and planning the next day's loop. Do I roll my eyes at him? Noooooooo. I just keep on clickin', readin', and typin'.
