I think we'll be at DL or (depending on finances) WDW in Feb 2007. My obssesive planning skills are going through withdrawal right now with nothing to plan! It's too far off to book anything. So what to do in the meantime??

**SIGH** In a perfect world we'd be at DL everyday. My 5 year old has some elaborate plans to live on Main St, but somehow I don't think they will let us move in!

We went this past May and between our distance from DL, credit card bill and my wife's desire to see something "new", we probably won't be heading that way for awhile.
Whereas, I could make an annual pilgrimage to visit my happy place!
We'll most likely head to WDW before we return to DL.

It's been 2 years since we went to Disneyland, and I've been trying to get my DH to go back ever since! I might just manage to persuade him in 3 years time - we'll have been together 30 years (ever since I was 15 years old) and I said I would like to go to Hawaii with stopoffs at my fave places Disney and San Francisco, if we can afford it. So I'm crossing my fingers ! :wizard:

about 3-4 years from now will be our next one.,...... the next time will be ds #2's first time,. and hubbys first also.

I want to go when the kids can go on every ride with us.. so they are 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 now... so 6 and 7 is probably the time we will go.

Unless we can get a weekend in we won't be back to DL until August of this year.

Wife says the kids are getting very excited, we go there again in June. To me, June seems like it is day after tomorrow. I am just not excited about the 1300 mile drive, but that won't stop us from experiencing the magic.

A good 2 years - 4 years is about the right time for me to visit Disneyland.

Visiting it every year sounds so juvenile (as I don't have a kid yet & it just looks so pricey and boring if done repetitively.)

Me.

It took me 41 years to get there the first time, and while it will not be that long next time, I can't see it happening anytime soon! (but then we are in Australia :sunny: )

:scared1:
Juvenile? Boring? **gasp** You do realize you're on the Disboards, don't you? :rotfl:
Seriously, I don't mean to offend, but your response struck me as funny, given where it's posted...Also, many people have made those comments to me whenever I tell them I'm going back to Disney...
Anyway, we just returned from our first trip to DL, and I'm ready to go back NOW! We probably won't be returning for at least two years, if not longer. I could live there, too.
So here's a  OP--I feel your pain.

September 2006, I know it doesn't seem that long, but for me it is. I am used to going a lot because I live close. I have to concentrate on work for awhile :sad1: But, I have decided we are staying at The Grand when we go, weather I get a good deal or not :flower:

Summer 2007, I am thinking of the Grand Californian for 5 nights followed by a Mexican Riviera Cruise. :goodvibes

ROFL :rotfl:

To each his own! I must admit that I have kids, but my husband and I have quite firm plans to keep going to Disney after they're grown.

I'm not going back to DL again until September 2007, and even though we'll be doing WDW this year instead, I have to admit that I'm very sad. I feel like we're missing a year in the life of the theme park! :rotfl2:
