I can't imagine there being any restrictions for pg women.

I rode it when it first opened in California Adventure. I didn't care for it because I felt like I was going to fall out. Dh sat out with our 2 youngest children, and when I got off the ride, I told him our 4 year old shouldn't go on it. He brought her on it anyway and while I sat outside worrying like crazy, she was on it having a blast!! lol.

So, it seems the ride is gentle and most people like it. But then there's some, like me, who feel out of sorts on it.

I didn't like it that there was no place to keep my feet. Because of that I was afraid to slip out of my chair. Ofcourse that didn't happen, but I was so uncomfortable that I haven't seen anything. Just waiting for it to end.

Front row and first time was fabulous! Second time we had second row and the feet dangling ruined it for me. I can't believe they couldn't hide the feet somehow.

Repeating an earlier question, can you ask for a front row seat when you meet the cm at the front of the queu? I would be happy to step aside and wait a couple of extra minutes to sit up front.

We are going next week, we are so looking forward to this ride. The foot dangling complaint seems to be unanimous, however.

When we were there, there were a few people that asked the CM if they could wait for the next que so they could be in that top row. They did it with no problem. It may depend on the CM you get.

Thanks, I think we'll try that. This seems to be one of the major reasons people are disappointed in this ride.

there are three sets of seating areas - three first rows. Just ask the CM that you want to be in the first row and you will be taken care of. We asked and they just let us go all the way down to be in the front row. Definately the best way to view the ride - had third row the first time and the feet just changed the experience.

The ride is a good idea in theory but poorly executed in my opinion. I rode it at DL last year and everyone was hyping it up big time. So we were really excited for the ride and left a little disappointed. We sat in the 3rd row and i didn't feel at all as if i were actually "soaring" over california. I felt like i was sitting in a bar stool with people sitting overtop with their feet hanging in front of me! If i had to choose one attraction to miss, this would be it.

I rode it for the first time last week. After reading the many positive reviews on this board,... I had to! It was interesting but for the life of me I can't understand why you would need to ride this attraction more than twice in your lifetime,... that is unless they changed the movie. I even sat in the first row! Been there,... done that,... ain't necessarily goin' back!

We lucked out and got first row on our very first ride without asking, but I would definitely ask for it. Worst they can do is say no. I will be asking in the future.

We had first row seats each time we rode and we loved it. We had decided though (thanks to advice from Princess Michelle) to request the front row had we not gotten it.

I do have a complaint though it is Waaayyy to short!!!!! It needs to be longer! It would be awesome as a 20 minute ride.

I enjoyed it, as in "that was pleasant" but I would have been sorely disappointed if I'd waited more than the time it took to walk to it (forever -- do not be fooled by a lack of line near the fast pass guy -- you walk a mile before you get to the loading area!)

As for hearing of people who waited an hour or more -- yikes! I don't wait for anything for that long, but this is a super short ride, so weigh your options carefully.

Overall, I don't know. I liked the smellovision, and we had the good front row seats. I guess I was expecting something more impressive. It's not nearly as good as the local Science museum's Imax movie that zips you along the highway and coast -- and that one doesn't move! The difference may be that it's too choppy, with too many scenes edited (very abruptly) so that just as you're taking in the orange groves, POOF! you're somewhere else.

I liked it, but it's nowhere near the satisfaction level of a Tower of Terror or Rock n Roller Coaster or Mission Space.

I'm not a big fan either...got a front row seat (didn't ask for it...) But maybe it was the wait, we waited about 90 minutes for what I thought was boring. I tried to mimic the oohs and ahhs I heard from the crowd but I just was NOT feeling this ride. Coolest thing was the different scents...thats it....

On a happier note Fiancee loved it!!!

This is a slow-moving, gentle ride where you sit back and enjoy the movie.
If you really wanted to break both legs and suffer excruciating pain for several months (or worse), I suppose you could manage to wriggle and thrust yourself out of the very secure seat (just like on about any theme-park ride.)

What holds you in is that ever-present "one-G" of gravity that keeps things sitting on the ground and not floating around in the air most of the time.
If you tend to tumble out of sofas and padded desk chairs, you might want to ride something safer like R&RC and Mission Space which have MORE than the standard "one-G" to hold you in.

I have to say that I really was disappointed when we first saw it.. but when we went back this last trip I absolutely LOVED IT!!!!!!

It makes a BIG difference where you sit IMHO>
The dangling feet did not worry me at all as I was looking forward and couldnt see them.. but I didnt enjoy it when i was not in the middle section (any row was fine, but in the middle or inner seats of the outer sections)

My whole family loves it!

We rode it 7 times over the course of a week on our last trip and each and every time we got the front row!
