So Saturday was a really nice day out so we opened the windows. Left them open all day and into the night. At 6 am Sunday morning I awaken to the werrrr werrr werrrrr of a chain saw!!! Yes, a CHAIN SAW!!!!!!! They were cutting down the stupid tree in front of their house.

Can you believe it?? I thought DH was going to blow a gasket!

so now there is a battle of the neighbors in Blink.

ummm that would happen here but the only neighbor we might wake for the most part would be a wild animal or maybe my parents and they are up by 6. that would never be allowed in any of te villages they all have noise ordences and huge signs warning the truckers not to use their jake brakes durning certian hours.

That is just downright inconsiderate! Way too early to be making noise like that.

My neighbor has some of the noisest equipment around and it drives me batty when he uses them, but at least he doesn't use them at inappropriate times.

6AM... uh, somebody would have had some not so nice words flying from my window! What are they thinking? Well, it's evident they weren't thinking!!!! That is RUDE!!! Unacceptable!!!!!

Heck, I get upset with DH if he tries to mow at 8AM.... leave it til 9 or 10... people are trying to sleep on weekends....

the noise ordinance is 10 am on weekends.

DH went out and gave them a piece of his mind. I thought he was going to kill someone!

they were resistant but stopped til 8:30. Thanks, NOT! The chain saw and the subsequent yelling woke up the rest of the house. That turned out to be a long day, especially DH because he was traveling.

Our town ordinance is 8:00 am. Our neighbor was out last weekend at 7:30 am with his saw and hammer. Seriously?! People are rude and inconsiderate.

We had the council out starting roadworks at 7am in the school holidays - that was bad. and sometimes the neighbours over the road bring out a stpid leaf blower or a jet washer to deal with their front garden - at 7am on a SUNDAY. hellow, if you're that eager buy a broom!!!!!
