I tip:

restaurant staff
the mousekeepers
the luggage people at the hotel (value resort)
the airport luggage people from the rental to baggage check in

and you?

I tip -
the restaurant staff
the mousekeepers

We drive so we do all the luggage handling ourselves.

I tip:
Mousekeeping
Valet Parking, Towncar Driver or Motorcoach Driver
Waitstaff
Skycaps
Bellhops
Room Service

Valet Parking
Taxi or shuttle service, if used
Horse carriage driver (popular at Christmastime)
Room service

I have not been there yet but I plan to tip:

luggage people at airport
mousekeeping
ME driver

We are on the dining plan so all tips are included. So not planning on tipping extra there.

ahhh see, I will be there in Dec, so I need to budget in horse carriage. Now just where are they anyway?

We tipped:
towncar driver(we have 2 different drivers-the first was grumpy-we tipped him $15.00-the one going back was GREAT-we tipped him $20.)

person who unloaded car & brought stuff in ($5.??)

bellhop (who brought items to our room-approx. $2. per bag))

mousekeeping ($5.00 per day-there's four of us)

waitstaff (amount depended on bill)

One thing I did before our trip is make up envelopes and "earmark" them for mousekeeping, per day, plus I had another envelope with a variety of bills for other tips. Waitstaff tips were put on our room charge. :flower:

When we (6) go next summer, I intend to tip:
Baggage handler at hotel - coming and leaving 2$ per bag

While we will be on the dining plan, intend to leave tip according to service. DD is a Waitress and after seeing what she does, no way is 18% enough for good service!!

Is 18% what they get from the dining plan?
