Who do you rent from?

This year we are doing things a little different and are going to stay off-site. I've been looking at both Windsor Hills & Bonett Creek, but it's very overwhelming at first! Can anyone recommend a company or person to rent from? Any help or tips is greatly appreciated !

Of these, we've used www.vrbo.com and www.allstarvacationhomes.com and had great experiences with both. You'll pay more through ASVH (almost double) but some people like the reliability of an established rental company so you know exactly what you're getting. ASVH used to include pool heat in the rate and doesn't charge a security deposit for possible damages like an owner will. Most private owners will charge you for pool heat and a small (we paid about $300) deposit that gets returned to you after you leave but again, their rates are much lower.

Last year we used an owner from the UK we found through VRBO. It was such a good experience that we're using them again this year. Their website is www.villatorent.us. Windsor Hills was great! Very quiet, gated with security, and it's so east to get to the parks. We rented a 4BR with a private pool so we never visited the community pool but it looked fabulous. Never too crowded.

I am renting from vacationcentralflorida.com this year and all has went well with booking, etc. I began at windsorhillsrent.com and sent in an inquiry and BOY did I receive a lot of responses! Some great, some soso. I weeded through the cheapest prices especially after looking at some of the units and one I checked was in foreclosure (glad I didn't go that route). However, I received many, many great quotes I would have went through without hesitating but I liked the booking policies on the one I got. Have fun!!!

I own both Wyndham and other timeshares, so for Bonnet I either book internally with my Wyndham points, or I use RCI to exchange in.

I use ebay to rent bonnet creek. Lots of sellers on there who are doing it as a business. Check the feedback and completed listings. Its a good place to see what you should be paying as well.

Another vote for Ken Price. Have booked with him twice and he was great. No problems atall. Had a 2 bed in main building both times as requested. I highly recommend.
