Who do you call to upgrade tickets

As I have said in a previous thread I would like to upgrade my Non-Expiring tickets to an AP-Gold, but do you call MS or Disney tickets??.
The Non-Expiring tickets are in MDE. How would this be done?

Reportedly, this has to be done in person, however I have been able to do it over the phone.

Just FYI, but I have tried numerous times to upgrade unused non expiring tickets and have been told no every time. Every CM says since Disney no longer sells these tickets, they are no longer in their system, so no upgrades. Must be used as-is.

Just curious. Have you tried in person? There has to be a ton of those tickets out there. I used to buy them quite a few at a time. Even if they have a paper price chart of the cost which they refer to, they could credit the price paid against the cost of the upgrade.

There is a thread in Theme Parks that might be a good place to ask about this. A CM who knows it all can answer if non expiring can be upgraded. It may already even be there!

Yep. Multiple times. At multiple different guest service locations. Have been told no upgrades to non expiring tickets every single time.

There's probably a market for those tickets. If WDW won't honor them, someone will use them, and perhaps as old as they are, worth more than face value.

I think that they are valid to use. It is just that Disney won’t allow a guest to upgrade the ticket. It has to be used as it is.

They are valid to use. Just used some of ours this week - we no longer purchase annual passes. I just haven’t been able to upgrade any of them
