Who do people say you look like when you first meet them?

A few years back, I had my hair short, and people were always coming up to me and telling me I looked just like Princess Diana. After she passed away, I couldn't go ANYWHERE without people actually stopping what they were doing to stare at me. It was quite unnerving, so I grew my hair out!

Here is a picture of my husband and I in 1998. BTW, people used to tell him that he looked like Scott Hamilton...he HATED that! LOL!

I get told I look like somebody's best friend from childhood, that I look like so and so's cousin, etc. I get "You look so familiar" quite often. There's a man at a local convenience store here that thinks he knows me. He thinks he knows my mom. He doesn't know either of us.

I don't think I look like anyone famous.

I get the Princess Diana thing all the time!

I had a security agent run up to me last year in the airport and she nearly had a heart attack screaming her name at me thinking it was Diana in the flesh! Not sure if she thought it was all a hoax ( a cruel one at that) or had been under a rock and hadn't heard....

Again yesterday, I was having a pedicure and this lady could not stop staring. I thought I had spinach hanging out of my teeth or something. Finally she came over and apologized for staring but said that she was overwhelmed at my likeness to Princess Diana.

Go figure...Poor Diana. I am older than she was at the time of her death. Not such a compliment to her!

My Future in Mother in Law said once that she thought I looked a little like Mia Hamm... interesting...

Well, many times people have told me I look like someone they know. Once on my college campus, I actually had some girls stop me on the street walking back from class and ask me if they could take my picture because they said I looked just like a friend of theirs!

When my penpal and I were swimming at the All Star Music pool during our WDW trip, some kids insisted that this young girl and I looked like each other. I didn't quite see the resemblance though. This girl looked about 10 and I was 18 at the time!

Apparently, there's another Angela who works at The Great Movie ride who looks like she could be my sister. I've been told this both by someone here on the DIS as well as a random guest who saw me when I was working at It's Tough to be a Bug.

Until recently, I had never been told I looked like anyone famous, but last week, two different people in three days told me I reminded them of Anne Hathaway from Princess Diaries. Go figure!
