Who do I call about receiving someone ELSE's vacation pkg?

A week ago or so I received mail from Disney with a booklet titled "The Allen Family's Incredible Vacation!". Since I had booked a stay at POP I set it aside and already recycled the envelope it came in.

Just now I decided to glance through it and realized this is not MY mail! (At the time I wondered why it did not say "my last name Family's" but I ignored it. Would this be the last name of the family whose it really belongs to?)

It has another resort listed with a different arrival date and confirmation number.

I tried phoning the 800-800-9800 number, but none of the options sound correct for this issue. I tried a couple but it seems they are closed anyways. I wanted to let DVC know they need to send another package to this family.

I don't recognize the last name as someone on my street to hand it to..

I would verify your reservation info to make sure that all is well.

Did you rent out some points or make a reservation for someone else?

Maybe I'm just lazy, but honestly I would just throw it away. It's a cool booklet I suppose, but it's not that important a document. If they really care about it, they can request another one when they don't receive it.

However, as Bill says, I would be more concerned that you are getting other people's stuff sent to your house. Is it your address on the booklet? Take a good look at your DVC account to make sure all the reservations and all your points are accounted for.

If it was just misdelivered by the post office, you can just drop it back in the mailbox.

You could try e-mailing the info to
mailto:members@disneyvacationclub.com

Thank you.

No. I'm not a DVC member. My booking is for POP. I clued in that this is for someone else when I saw SS Resort listed and then checked the date & confirmation number listed inside it.

Unfortunately I cannot check the address to see if it had mine on it, or someone else's address that was mistakenly left at mine. I opened it last week and already threw out the envelope. Ah well. I'll make an effort to phone tomorrow and use the e-mail address above and that's it.

Thanks!

I would just verify that your reservation is okay and forget about it. Disney IT is known for making mistakes.

If the envelope had the address and not the stuff inside, it's just an envelope-filling mixup. At Amazon we called it a "switcheroo" when something would get a bit off in the "assembly" line so the box for Mary would end up with joe's items. Joe's box would get Ted's items. Ted's box would get Josie's items etc until it was caught. Then a few days later we would start hearing from people and we would fix it. (No unraveling needed, just fix things as we found out)

Not sure if Disney has a way of resending, but call if you like!
