Who did you have a crush on when you were younger?

This is so embarassing, but I had 3 crushes that really stand out.

1. Michael Jackson. I loved him. I had the yellow sweater vest poster of him on my wall, as well as every little picture I could find. My parents used to make fun of me. Do you remember when he burned his head during the Pepsi commercial? My parents told me about it, and I burst into tears!!! They were trying so hard not to laugh, but I was just devastated that MY Michael was hurt.

What in the world was I thinking???

2 and 3. John Schneider and Tom Wopat from the Dukes of Hazzard. I can remember being in 7th grade and skipping dances because I didn't want to miss Dukes on Friday night! I had a watch that played the snippet from "Dixie" that the General Lee's horn played.

When I was very young, it was David Cassidy. I loved his hair.

As I got older, I had a mad crush on Lindsay Buckingham from Fleetwood Mac. I think I wrote him a fan letter or two. Ditto James Taylor. I thought Freddie Mercury from Queen was wildly attractive, even though I knew he played for the opposite team. I had a thing for musicians, and in fact, still do.

When I was real young, Shaun Cassidy & Maurice Gibb(the bald drummer from the Bee Gees).
As I got older I liked Kirk Cameron. Funny thing is I never made the connection that I named my first DS Cameron, until recently. But the real reason he was named Cameron was after Cam Neeley of the Boston Bruins. I guess you could call that a crush even though I was older and should have been out of the crush stage. Heck, I was running into him at bars, and still had a crush on him.
