Are these available to FL residents? Or do you have to have an annual pass to purchase?:confused3
TIA:goodvibes

Actually, Tables in Wonderland. Ugh, that name is terrible :rolleyes2

Yes, a Florida resident can purchase a membership without being an annual passholder. The price for Florida residents is higher, I believe.

You're right. It's $85 for Florida residents, $60 for AP holders. The rates get a little closer for renewals: $70 for Florida residents (if renewed within 30 days of expiration), $60 for AP holders (no renewal discount). :)

I actually like Tables of Wonder better.

Saying "I'm using Tables in Wonderland" sounds to me like being invited to Grace Slick's dinner party.

I'll be getting 2 cards...one for me and for my wife. We will also be with about 18 other people. Is there any possiblility of getting everyone to take advantage of the discount? (10 people per card)
Thanks in advance for your help and assistance :)

I got mine at the guest services window @ MK. I believe any of the ticketing windows will have them.

I wish these where offered to Guest staying on property regadless of the type of pass they have. I think that would be a great perk for those whom wish to stay on Disney Property and also if your a Guest staying on property to have the front of line option and do away with the fast pass garbage. With the price of what we pay for a room I think this would be a good incentive for guest on property IMHO.

I just bought mine a week ago. It is still called the Disney Dining Experience. I was told the name doesn't change until sometime next year.

All members (well, most members) have received e-mails stating the name change is in effect as of September 15 (tomorrow).

I'd bet they don't have new cards with the new name yet and will use up the stock they have first.

Nope. But they are generally lax on the rules. We had one DDE card in December that I used for 12 people (two were children) several times at nice restaurants- California Grill, Jiko's, Liberty Tree, etc. I never asked, just gave them my card and got the 20% discount on all.

Just thought I would throw this in for those that aren't aware of it, the second card (spouse card) has an additional costs of $25.

Does anyone know if we purchase it at the resort at check-in, or should we wait and purchase the card when we get to Epcot? (I currently have an AP voucher that I'll need to exchange)

Thanks!

To be honest, as a FL resident and a PAP holder, I'm glad for some discounts that are geared towards us. We've never stayed on property other than at the Dolphin, but we do spend quite a bit of money at Disney because of DDE. I think the option of purchasing the Dining Plan is a very nice perk for guests staying on property, personally.

If they were to open it to all guests staying on property, I could absolutely see them reducing the discount to 10% or less, even.

I'm not sure but have reports that people have been able to do just that.

Any Guest Services at the parks or DTD. But not ticket windows like those at the TTC or the right hand one at the IG.

With two cards, it's not allowed?

Resorts don't sell DDE (or now TiW :goodvibes ) nor APs. Can't redeem AP vouchers there either. Guest services at the parks or DTD only...but that does include the water parks according to GoldenOldie.

I read where an 18% gratuity is automatically added, regardless of party size. I am assuming that is just for table service restaurants, correct? Not counter service? Thanks.

Yes, no gratuity at counter service.
