Looking past our trip next week :bounce:
to January, 2008, when we want to go back to WDW and stay at the DVC: I have a question.

New Years Day is a Tuesday, so when do you think the crowds will die down. Would it be even worth it sto travel before that weekend of January 4-5-6? If people go for Christmas and New Years, when do you think they will leave? Anyone with experience here? Thanks.

i would imagine that those for the new years week would be leaving to go home on the 5th or 6th

Crystal ball says you will be pregnant in Jan 2008. Wait, that's a different Disney Mom.

The ball's batteries are low, I think. You hope.

The first week in January has Average Corwd Levels. The second and so on has very Mild Crowd levels.

It better be a different Disney mom :rotfl2: , I'm 54 and my "baby" is 18.

Not sure when kids go back to school in Fl but my kids don't go back til Jan 8.
This may make a difference in the crowds.

We were trying to avoid crowd blitz this year on New Years and have tried to book the week after and 2 weeks out. No room at the inn for us. We could not find a room so, so much for crowds dying down in January. Doesn't seem to letting up any time soon.

They can always rename one of the parks "Crowds R Us." or call the new campaign: Year of a million Crowds. I think I'll stay home until February.
