Who can modify a reservation?

Hi, all! I was wondering if I'm able to modify our existing reservation to change the dates even though it's in DF's name. Has anyone been able to do it even if I had his CC#? I'd rather do it myself because I'm more in the know about what I'm trying to do and I want to make sure of a few things.

If not, I'd understand because of security reasons it might be better off if they don't let the non-CC holder do it.

I don't see why you couldn't if you are on the ressie as well and since you have all the info (confirmation #, phone # it's under, etc) . They will ask you for certain info (which you'll have) to verify everything, so I don't think you'll have a problem. Now if you weren't on the ressie, I can see them not allowing you to make changes; otherwise, I don't see it as being a problem. Plus it doesn't have anything to do with the cc holder since anybody's card can be used to pay.....they just need to talk to someone who's actually on the ressie....especially for changes . I always book our trips but DH is always listed first and I never had any trouble changing resorts or dates after the initial booking .

Thanks!! That's just the information I needed! I am on the reservation since it's our Disneymoon (well, at least I hope I am!! )

I need to push back the reservation by one day because the flights are cheaper.

Good for you . I just noticed you're staying at the Poly (good choice) . Not sure if you've stayed there before, but if not, you are going to LOVE IT . We had our first stay there last September and it's now our #1 choice resort . It's especially romantic at night with the lit tiki torches (IMO)....great for a honeymoon . Have a great time and enjoy the Poly .

I know the OP's question was answered and resolved but in case anyone else picks up this thread - you don't even have to be on the reservation to modify it. I'm making all the arraignments for my in-laws and they have never even talked to Disney World. I have all the information and the in-laws will only get the details right before they leave.

I had to do it this way. They travel so much that they only think about one trip at a time. Late September is two trips away for them.
