Who are your three favorite reviewers whose reviews you always read here on the DIS restaurant board?

I'm sorry, but all I can see are hurt feelings coming from this. I, honestly, enjoy reading almost all of them! :thumbsup2

I can only think of one at the moment...I love reading Praying Colonels dining reviews and trip reports. :)

I'm not trying to hurt anyone's feelings, I just thought that this would be a fun little game to play.

Why was this moved? It seemed like it was in the perfect section!!?? :confused3
Probably because it wasn't an actual review. I actually wasn't sure wether to put it on the review board or the main restaurant board when I posted it.

Gotcha! BTW--I wasn't criticizing your intentions at all--I just could picture certain people getting their feelings hurt--that was all. :)

And I will add that my favorite reviews are the ones where pictures are shown (but not always necessary), and the reviews are longer and detailed. I enjoy a cute story once in a while, but if I'm reading them to get some ideas on where to go, I don't need 5 different posts for the same restaurant, with a story full of non-related food topics. I did enjoy the recent one from MickeyNicki (I think I got her name right!)--lots of pics and details--and it actually made me change my mind about a couple of place I want to go to when we go in December! Now, THAT'S a review!

I love reading Hayley's (Eeyore's Tailfinder) TRs and dining reviews. She's charming and genuine as well as extremely thorough. She usually includes great pictures as well. Plus, she's been a MILLION times (to Disney World and to other places like DW Paris, etc.) so I feel she knows her stuff.

Even when I'm tired of the planning (it does happen on occasion) I can read her reviews and get excited about our trip again!

I didn't think you were trying to criticize me, I actually questioned starting this thread myself, to avoid hurting feelings.

My three favorites are; (and I like the same qualities as you,)

1) Mister Disney / K-Man
2) Oybolshoi
3) TigerKat

Mickey Nicki's were very good too, but I had to give the third place to Tiger Kat since I remember her's months after she wrote them.

The Review Board is for reviews only. Anything that is not a review is moved.

I enjoy all the reviews. It is nice to share in the adventures of all our posters on the magical vacations:thumbsup2

I'm always grateful for any review that someone takes the time to write, but the ones with pictures can be especially helpful.

I love all the reviews but my favorite are the ones with pictures!

Mr. Disney
Olboyshoi
TigerKat

They are the ones that stick out the most to me because they tell a great story!

ITA. I loved reading her report too--she has a great writing style and it was a pleasure to read the whole thing! Plus, they're both so darn cute!

Ok I have 4 because I think these people are all hysterical, and truly have the same opinions of food as I do however I enjoy reading through many of the reviews esp ones who show pics and explain the meal in detail!

1. Mr Disney & K-man (ok sort of cheating but I didn't want to have to make the list 5;) :rotfl2: )
2. Olboyshi
3, TigerKat
4. Uncleromulus

Well then, I shall follow in your "cheat" :rolleyes1 and say My top three (in no particular order, given the nature of the postings...) are: Mr. Disney, Mr. D's K-man, and Oybolshoi....of course, I also want to give props to Uncleromulus, Tigerkat & everyone else who takes the time to write such wonderful reports and provide me with that mouthwatering food porn....
 (see, now why isn't there a DROOL smiley/emoticon....someone needs to program one of those....if only I knew how....now I'll be left with no other choice but to post my own version....

Oh, my! There's no way I could only pick three.

Some days I want to read something akin to a novel, a page-turner, if you will, where at the end of the dining reviews, I feel I've gotten a glimpse of a reviewer's heart and soul. Many of the posters already mentioned are perfect for filling that need -- my favorite thing to do while sipping my morning coffee!

Other times, I really just need a quick review. Family and/or friends are tossing around the idea of scrapping one ADR for somewhere else, and I love being able to come here, putting on my California skin, praying to the DIS Search Gods to be generous and kind to me in my search results for -- as an example -- recent reviews of Bistro or Tusker House breakfast. This is when I love those reviewers who "just stick to the facts."

So I love them all. I love all the styles for different reasons. Some of the reviewers are actual friends of mine. Some of the reviewers I'd love to be friends with in the future! And many reviewers are folks without a big DIS persona, who graciously and generously pay a recent dining experience forward to help other WDW-lovers plan their own vacations, and I love them, too :grouphug:

Keep 'em all coming!!!

This is easy! Except I have 4 favorites rather than 3 --

Oybolshoi (Brenda)
Mister Disney and K-Man
Uncleromulus
