Who are you booking through?

Its been ages since I booked a holiday I have no idea where to start!
Our next holiday is our honeymoon which my fiance has been responsible for arranging (yep its all done, don't worry!!!).
Previously my last major holidays have been a Cruise which a friend of the family arranged, I just gave her the money and turned up! and then I've not been anywhere else since Disney 2004 which my Mum sorted out.

So long winded way of telling you why I need help! But if you can help recommend UK based agents etc. (not necessarily high street chains) I'd be most grateful.

We booked through BA Holidays for next year, and at the time of booking we got free upgrades to World Traveller Plus. I've always found their prices to be good. Having said that My friend booked a Disney Holiday through Thomas Cook Signature last week and they were £400 cheaper for the exact same holiday Ba and Virgin quoted for. FYI they are 2 adults & 2 children under 6.
when we phoned Ba and got a quote we phoned Virgin and they said they would price match or better BA, and I phoned Thomas Cook as an afterthought, who more than matched this.

I hope this helps. I am not against airtours or any other charter companies, but living in north Scotland There are no airports within a 4 hour drive who do charter flights to Orlando, so it doesnt really work for us, before we cost in overnight accomodation and the long drive home.

Hi Julie........ you could try www.expedia.co.uk - we usually use them.

Also travel agents like MyTravel/First Choice/Thomsons might have some good deals. We are in the same position as ScottishDisMam though, and would have a long drive to Glasgow if we used charter companies. We tend to stick with BA, KLM or Air France and book everything separately.

If you want an independant travel co-oridinator then travelcounsellors are UK wide, some specialise in Disney/Florida.

We book fly-drive's direct with Virgin Holidays but sort out accomodation, tickets etc ourselves.

For November we have booked direct through VIRGIN holidays

and for the other two direct with travel city direct
