Who Are DVC Rental Pros?

I keep getting emails from them. I have never heard about this company. Were they possibly under a previous rental company name then changed the company name? Would love any feed back. I don’t see anything different with them from other companies except it looks like one could earn “ pixie points”, which sounds like a rewards system.

I have never heard of them either. Maybe they are searching deeds and trying to reach out to owners.

I received an unsolicited postcard from them a couple of days ago. No physical address on the card - just a website.

This is concerning. They must be getting our info off of the Orange County Website. But do they have email addresses? They are also promoting $19/ point for 7-11 month rentals. Yet when you go into the area for owners it only mentions I think 16.50/pt ( can’t remember off hand). No where near the advertised $19/pt. So I am assuming maybe you can get to that price using “ pixie points”. IDK, I have no interest in this business. I had to put a a spam blocker on them I was getting so many emails.

The proliferation of these third party rental sites in general is going to quickly become problematic. In the aggregate they are skirting the "no commercial activity" rule at least in spirit by getting owners to book high demand times and then charge a premium for those confirmed reservations, to the detriment of owners who want to use their own points to book their own rooms during those same high demand times. Some of these reservations are going for close to rack rate when the resorts are otherwise sold out including for cash, it's insanity.
