Who and When?

Leaving for WDW from NY during Thaksgiving weekend we are a family of 6 Mom,Dad and 4 kids.My question is should we leave Thanksgivin day in the late afternoon and stay overnight in Orlando and start fresh or wake up at 3a.m. to catch a 6 a.m. flight.Opinions are welcome.Also when flying out of NY who do you prefer Delta or the new upstart JetBlue Thanks for your help

You don't say how old your kids are but we did it last November with four teenagers. Although no one was cranky or whiney, we were all really dragging. We stuck it out at Epcot until our 4:00 PS and then went to AKL to pass out. Even the second day was a little rough for hubby and me. We don't bounce back as fast as we use to. Next time if we take the early flight I will probably just make it a day at the resort and start fresh the next day. The resorts certainly have enough to keep everyone entertained that first day. Also, I don't like staying somewhere for just one night and have to pack it up the next day and lug it somewhere else. Good luck!
