Who all is going during Labor Day Weekend?

I was just curious how many of you are planning on going during Labor Day Weekend. This will be our first time going then, we usually arrive the Thursday afterwards. I'm not worried about crowds or anything like that, I was just curious how many LGMs I should be looking out for . BTW, we will be having ours on each of our park bags so if you are there and see us, don't hesitate to stop us and say hi .

I am so glad to hear this. My DH was kind of nervous when he heard that our vacation will be during Labor Day weekend, for some reason anytime he hears the word holiday and Disney together in the same sentence, it is not good . However after he read some of the other posts from other DISers talking about how it really isn't that bad, I think he has calmed down. Can't wait to see for ourselves .

8/30 - 9/5. My 2nd time going & last time we were there for a week so I feel like this is a short trip. Probably would have stayed longer but school starts for us on 8/20. I only take Tuesday/Thursday classes though & will only miss 2 days DBF is only taking MWF classes this semester so he'll miss 1 class.

We are still thinking about it---- we went last year from 8/29-9/2, and found it to be SOOOOOO hot (no newsflash there) - Our son had just turned
7 months--- (daughter was 5), and I think the heat was too much for them (and mom and dad) !!

Ok--- someone convince us to go !!!!

We will be there August 31-September 4, our first stay as DVC members in our home resort BLT.

We always go the last week of August/first week of September which obviously includes Labor Day. Don't forget most schools are back in session by then so the crowds are much lighter than during the summer months. Last year we rarely had to wait on lines and although it was hot, it wasn't unbearable. It did rain every day we were there but somehow it never interfered with our plans.

This year we are trying a new resort. We will be at POR, staying in a Royal Guest Room from 8/28-9/6. Can't wait to be home again!

Love going this week. I usually go until the 8th, but the kid has to go to school on the 5th and cannot miss it this year, starting her first year of HIGH SCHOOL! YIKES!!!
