I've never experienced the Stitch attraction in Magic Kingdom. We have our first trip in over a decade set for this September. I see many comments throughout many threads where people take shots at this attraction for being so bad. I'm wondering who on here actually likes it?!?!?! And why do you like it??? I'm very curious.

It doesn't bother me until it blows the hot smell of a chili cheese dog in your face.

I'll admit it, my family likes it.

It's "scary" but not *too* scary for younger kids (my son was just 6 the last time). I think it's cute and appropriate to the movie. Of course, I think Stitch is adorable so that could be part of why I like it.

The first time that I did this one, it was pre-stitch. It felt wrong for the park - too dark, too scary, just generally not in line with Magic Kingdom.

I know you asked for "who likes it" but I felt the need to tell you that it stinks..in more ways than one! :rotfl:

I am a huge fan of Stitch and the movie, but I wish there had been a different type of attraction for it. I think the pre-show is funny, but I really could do without the actual show :confused3 DS who is now 19 and still Stitch's biggest fan can't miss this so we go for him.

I actually find it to be a more-than-pleasant diversion. I think it's worth doing once, particularly with kids. It's not worth a long wait, of course, or repeat visits. But if you have time to spare and there's a short wait, it doesn't hurt :)

I don't care for it, but the rest of my family liked it.

Last trip, when the bigger kids and I did Space Mountain, the then-5 year old requested a second viewing of Stitch as his thing to do instead with Papa. :confused3

I like it...except for the smell of the burp. Gross! It took forever for that smell to go away.

My DD 14 loves it. Stitch is her all time favorite. My other kids, 10,5,5 on our last trip all liked it and my husband just does it for the kids. I won't ride it, but I scare really easily.

My family loves it! I could do with out the shoulder bars, but that's just me because I am claustrophobic. I do wish they would make something better for Stitch though, he is so awesome and deserves it!

I love it! I'm a huge Stitch fan, so that's probably why.

My DS6 loved Stitch and loved the ride; we went on it twice in one day. I tolerate it for his sake. It's not too bad.

It is not anything I would rave about but if there are little to no lines for it we will do it again next month. Want to sit closer to the center this time to see if that has any affect (dh was in a wheel chair with a broken foot so we had to sit at the very back and it seemed to have lost its point there for a lot of the effects)...At least its cool inside on a hot afternoon or dry during a rainstorm :)

Seems like most of the people who like it are Stitch fans in general...is it fair to say that most people who actually like it, like it because it's Stitch and not for the attraction itself? My kids don't really care about Stitch, so I'm thinking it's probably still one to skip for us.

I love the character, but absolutely HATE the attraction. In my opinion, it's the single worse attraction in all of Disney World. It's loud, uncomfortable, and that smell is something you can't get out of your head for days. That being said, my son (12) loved it and wants to do it everytime we go to MK!

I know you're asking for people who like it, but I wanted to talk about an alternative reason that I didn't enjoy it. Many people just don't like the attraction because it's too scary or claustrophobic or a number of other things. However, there is a separate, more glaring reason that I really don't like the attraction.

I am a huge Stitch fan- it's one of my favorite movies in general let alone Disney. I hate that the attraction is focused on Stitch's untamed alien form. That isn't what most of the movie (or sequels/TV show) is about, and it's certainly not the reason many people love the character. There are so many things that could be done with the franchise that don't involve that part of his character. I don't understand why they chose to go with that, other than the fact that they were replacing Alien.

This isn't everyone's opinion though. As others have said, many Stitch fans enjoy the attraction. For example, my sister's (age 20) absolute favorite character is Stitch. She even has a Stitch doll that she brings to the parks to take photos with as a kind of memento of her trips. She loves the attraction and it's a can't miss for her. So it's different for everyone.

It's really a hit or miss. However, as others have mentioned, it's really a only a "hit" for Stitch fans (and only some Stitch fans at that). If your family aren't overly enamored of Stitch, they may not be as willing to endure the problematic attributes of the attraction.

I think it's a cute attraction. If your a stitch fan you will most likely enjoy it. Some people don't favor this attraction because it's loud and gets dark and the seats are tight/awkward. If your family isn't afraid of dark places then I say try it atleast once :)
