Whitewater Snacks and GC question

Hi! I know there have been a few threads about Whitewater snacks at the GC, but I have a question that I don't think was answered recently. If so, sorry. We will be staying at the GC and were wondering if they have cereal boxes in the morning for a quick breakfast at Whitewater.

I also have a GC Hotel question: If staying in a regular room, can you request a fridge in your room upon arrival or is that something that you need to request on your original reservation? We will be staying in August so I imagine the hotel will be crowded. Thanks for all your advice and help, as always!!

Don't know about the fridge. I've never eaten at Whte Water snacks in the morning for breakfast, but my daughter has had ceral there. I think it was actually the ceral bowls not boxes (those pre-bowled individual packs).

If I remember correctly we had to buy the milk seperately (although I could be wrong about here, because I also remember my daughter wanting a bigger size milk than they would give her, so I can't remember). My daughter has gotten the ceral bowls at all different times, so I would assume they've also got them in the mornings.

We stayed in a regular room there.....and there was a fridge BUT.....it was stocked with items to be purchased and there was only a VERY tiny amount of space available for us to use.

Thank you for your quick reply dietz. I did read something somewhere about them having those cereals during the day, too. It is just wierd I did not see them listed for a breakfast choice. I would hope they have them out all day then, from the a.m. on. ?? Thanks.

Meriweather: Thanks for your response about the fridge. That is interesting, sounds like more of a minibar, huh? I know they say the suites have fridges, but I guess the regular rooms only have minibars. I did not remember reading that the rooms had a minibar in them, but I guess they do. Anyone else stay in a regular room at the GC lately? Thanks!

We stayed at the GC 2 years ago and we did get a empty fridge sent to our room at no addtl charge. So hopefully, they will still do that for you-we are staying at the DLH next week and we will be requesting a fridge there.

We just stayed at GC towards the end of May and called housekeeping for a fridge once we were in our room. They brought one up immediately at no charge.

At DLH, there has already been a fridge in the armoire both times we stayed there.

Thanks Snurk71. I know at DW, they charge 10 plus dollars a day for a fridge, but I thought even that might be worth it for waters for the park. No extra charge is even better. Thanks.
