White Water Snacks question

I'm thinking it might be a good idea to grab fruit, muffins, or whatever at WWS (we're staying at GCH) some mornings before hitting the parks. What time do they open?

Last Aug they were open at 0700.

Like Jack said ... they open 7 a.m. We were there last Saturday and got there at 7:10 a.m. just after it opened .. grabbed a quick breakfast and got to the main gate of CA at 7:30 just as they started letting people in.

Whitewater snacks rules! Try the Nachos if you are there later in the day. We sometimes duck into there just to get away from the crowds. Eating on the patio is very peaceful.

Any chance that they have muffins, bagels, etc out in the evenings? We want to get to the parks before 7am, so I could grab them the evening before.

They do ... but the selection can be very limited. You may want to grab something from the Fiddler Fifer and Practical Café on Buena Vista street and bring that back to your room instead.

Hearthstone Lounge in GCH opens at 6am and has a small selection of wrapped muffins, etc. I was there last Sunday as my DS1 woke up early and I wanted to let the rest of my family sleep, so we went downstairs to the GCH lobby to watch cartoons. Hearthstone has great coffee, and free refills until 11am.

Be sure to use the GCH exit, near Grizzly Rapids. Go out and make a left, then another left. Very, very easy. They used to have a bluegrass band, the Miner 49er's that you could hear from the patio, too. Not too loud, but it made for nice background music that blended in with the atmosphere.

There selection was limited when we were there in Nov., but we never went early early, so your idea is really good

If you haven't stayed at GCH before, you are going to LOVE IT!!!
