White or colored on the Christmas tree?

Colored, and not those rinky-dink little flashing nightmares either! I want real bulbs, just like my parents had.

Ok, well, we compromised since this was our annual fight--we have those dinky things, non flashing, with covers over them that make them look like real bulbs :) Took about 15 yrs of marriage before we reached the compromise though!

I said white, but my sister uses colored. I was toying with the idea of using colored this year, but what if I hate it? Then I have to undo it all and start over! Ahhh choices :rotfl:

BTW, I REALLY want the BIG colored bulbs for my house, but have yet to get them. Made the switch to LED's for outside a few years ago and don't really want to invest in MORE outside lights quite yet. Some day though.

Colored lights on the tree in the living room, clear on the family room tree.

(so I didn't vote)

Red, white and green outside, with big candy canes and peppermint lights.

White or white, green and red i hate when they have colors like blue and orange mixed with the red and green.

Blue and White might go well together though.

White on the tree and we alternate years between white outside and what I call the chili pepper lights - coloured but kind of electric blue and red emphasis.

So, I'm voting white since we use it more than colour.

I like both. I even like them mixed! :goodvibes

White only, inside and outside.

I hate colored lights, especially when people have random colors that make no sense. A house in my town always has a strand of blue, a strand of orange, some multicolored. They must have gotten them on sale somewhere and that was all that was left.

I prefer colored lights but we have an artificial tree that I got at a great price to fit exactly in a specific spot in our home (it's narrow) and I could only get it with white lights (I didn't want to string the lights myself - laziness, LOL!).

That's funny. I prefer white lights but we found a tree last night that was just perfect (at a fabulous price) but it only had colored lights. We'll give it a whirl this year and maybe change it over the white lights before we put it away.

We used to do color but we do white now.

White lights inside. Outside we usually do white lights with one other color. This year it's blue! :goodvibes

Colored!

DH is making a smaller version of the Mickey head that gets hung on the Contemporary resort and he is going to use colored on it too.

Color, and as many as possible!
This! And not those little lights. And non-blinking.

Outside...all white, non-blinking,

I don't like all one color (except white) inside or out. And I hate lights that blink in sections.

White on the inside, colored on the outside. White 'traditional' bulbs, colored look better LED (the colors are crisper).

I prefer colored inside, but the tree we bought this year comes with white, so white it will be and we will change them over later.
We have white icicle lights outside.
