White or Black linen and chair covers for DP?

Our planner mentioned that white linens not good for DP because of bugs.
Has anyone ever insisted to use the whites?
Were there any problems?

I have never heard this and I think all of the pictures I have seen of DP had white linens. I would love to hear the answer to this also.

The only thing I know for sure was that it was very dark you could hardly see the dessert table and what was on it. To do again I would have added some sort of lighting to the tables instead of tiny little candles.

you will be surprised how little you care about what color your linens are on the big day. i was so happy to be married and having the time of my life that I barely noticed the linens...you wont either

I am going to try to quit worrying so much about it.
My BEO is driving me crazy... hehe
