The one in the entry is all white lights. The one in the family room is all white. The one upstairs in the gameroom is multi colored, and the balcony, stairs are white
Red lights?! That made me think of the time we put up a tree at my Granny's house out in the woods. The lights she had were all red. In the dark that tree looked like it was on fire My Grandfather called it the Devil Tree.
I prefer colored lights, but this year we will put white lights on our white tree.
We have colored lights some years and white lights other years. DH and dd like the colored and I like the white on a Christmas tree - so we alternate! lol
I'm from the old school, so multi colored for me. One year I had all blue (reminded me of my Gram who loved them). I did put clear ones outside though. They look nice on a small tree.
I so totally agree with this - I love blue lights outside - ours are amost all blue, the big old fashioned blubs with a few white ones twinkling - this was at my DH insistance - which I didn't agree with afirst and now just love
Inside - boring fake pre lit tree with white lights - but the ornaments are multicolored and lovely!!
My parents always have multicolored so that is what hubby and I had until 2 years ago. I put white lights on and it automatically looked classier to me. I don't know- I guess I like both! Colored b/c I am sentimental and white because I think it looks prettier.
We need to buy a new fake tree this year and I wanted to buy it at Costco, but they only have the clear light ones. I really want the multi-colored lights, so I don't know where to go for it.
