White Elephant gift exchange

We went to a party, and were one of the first to pick a present...my husband picked the biggest box... it was a windmill (you had to assemble it). Nobody tried to steal it from us!

Someone received it as a wedding present, and had no idea what to do with it.

We gave it to my father-in-law for Christmas, and he thought it was one of the best gifts he'd ever received!!!

I would definitely head to Walmart and check out their As Seen on TV section. Most things usually run about $15-$20.

You could also buy two of those giant candy bars ($10 a piece at Walmart) I've seen Resee Cups, Peppermint Patties, Hershey Bars and Snickers. And wrap them up together. Who doesn't like a little chocolate pick-me-up. LOL

Get four $5 scratch off tickets but don't tear them apart. Just wrap them as is. Everyone will want to know what the long, completely flat gift is.

We took homemade laundry detergent one year. I painted a laundry detergent bottle white and wrote the directions in black sharpie on it. This was the gift people fought over.

This was not a work party--but a close friend adult party.

I just saw a commercial for a Duck Dynasty chia pet. Probably can buy it at walmart or walgreens.

A bottle of cherries in moonshine! we just returned from a trip to the Smoky Mountains, and a moonshine distillery in Gatlinburg had this. Tasted it. Fabulous and STRONG. What a hoot

The party we attended last night had an assortment of alcohol, including the moonshine cherries, as well as adult-only gifts ;-)

DH is doing a Dirty Santa exchange at work and I ordered him Season 1 of Duck Dynasty. I figured it would be something kind of silly, but secretly something a lot of people would want.

They sell gift sets in the $20.00 range...and there is a sale right now.

You can always check to see if a local store near you sells it.

On Pinterest I saw the idea to give an autographed picture of yourself. I thought that was hysterical. THe recipient could keep and use the frame.
