White crocs for men?

Does anybody wear the white crocs around the World. I was thinking my regular shoes are white and I would like to wear ankle cut socks with my crocs (current color is black). Will the white crocs look goofy with socks ? Was about to order another pair and thought I would give white a try. What do ya think?

they look weird. DH is wearing mine currently in the car only (his work shoes are too dirty for the car) and he looks very odd. Which reminds me I need to find his missing croc so I can have my shoes back! LOL

I think I'd go with blue or tan crocs. White makes me think of nurse's shoes.

DH has white ones. But he wears them only to officiate swim meets. They are not white-white, but a pearl white, so you may not like that. They do for swim meets because he has to wear white shoes and waterproof is a major bonus.

Just my opinion, as a nurse, white Crocs = work shoes, WDW = escape time LOL, no reminders of te *real* world for me!

That's what I ask my DH. Please do not wear socks with your sandals.
However, since you are not my DH, you can wear whatever you want.
And since I will probably never see you, you don't need my opinion.
but....my personal opinion, don't wear socks with your sandals.

Hmm, I don't consider crocs to be sandals and I can't wear them without socks cause they rub the top of my foot. I think white crocs might look odd but hey, mine are hot pink and people seem to think that is odd.

I'd never let my DH wear white crocs, heck, I'd never wear white crocs! I'd advise you to go for a khaki or similar color, but have you considered these:

You need to decide what is going to make you happy.

That said, I think either navy, khahi brown, or black are best on men. Even with socks the colors won't look so bad.

At WDW anything goes....people watching is half the fun. Not that we'd be laughing at you.

My husband loves Crocs and wears them every day in the summer. And he always wears socks. He has black Mickey crocs, Penn State crocs and Khaki crocs. He wears white socks with them, but I do make him only wear ankle socks not knee highs. Hey I had to draw the line somewhere.

My honest opinion? I would skip the white. My friend's boyfriend was wearing a white pair rcently(walking around his house) and all I could think was "hey, it's Bugs Bunny" LOL. Of course his grey sweatpants and T-shirt may have contributed to this image but I really thought the white crocs looked strange anyway.

BUT...I'd get them if you like them and they're comfortable. That's what really matters.

LOL, I wear socks with my crocs and have them in sea blue, black, brown, orange, bright pink, lime green...etc. I don't really care for the white ones, they look like nurses shoes....but the colors are great. We actually have a picture of all of us in the Disney Visa meet and greet and it's so funny as we all have on colored (brightly) crocs and all the characters have on those HUGE colored shoes....we all match Even the waitress laughed at Harvest Grill when she was walking back to our table and saw underneath at all our bright feet. Crocs are fun...and socks are a necessity for us when wearing them.

IMO, you're never going to see other vacationers at WDW again in your life (unless you're going to meet up with other DISers ) so you should do what you like and makes your day at the park comfortable and enjoyable. I wear Crocs almost every day, sometimes with socks. I really don't care what you think about my fashion sense, I'm all about comfort these days!

My Crocs also rubbed on the top of my foot and kindof got red and sore too. But, after awhile, notsomuch. I wear new ones with socks to break them in, and I build up a tolerance for wearing them barefoot in the summer. (But, for WDW, I bring an alternate footwear just in case). I also do better in Beach vs. Cayman. there is a slight differnce in the fit, at least to me. I also love the Specialist (vent) ones in the winter, less drafty holes, and better for my jobs. (I have white for one (medical) job, black for the retail job!)

My hubby has white crocs that he wears with the highest socks iv ever seen. HOWEVER, they are for work in a hospital. Hes not allowed to wear them out of the house except to go to work.
