White Castle hamburgers to open

The world's largest White Castle hamburger joint opens Monday, May 3, at Palm Pkwy. & Daryl Carter Pkwy., north of Disney Springs and west of I-4.

They're famous for their sliders steamed with onions. Personally, I've never had one, but I'm looking forward to trying some. I know they have a huge loyal fan base. Also on the menu are "Impossible", fish, crab cake, chicken ring, and chicken & waffle sliders.

They'll be open until 1 a.m. every night.

But the Grand Open is 8 a.m. Monday
With 9am- 1am beginning Tuesday .
Celebrate White Castle 100 year Anniversary. I got my White Castle Mug from St.Louis and I am ready!
Do Not judge a Castle by its frozen availabilty and get it to go cause it is all about the box it is served in! If you order for “in store dining “ they might serve it on a paper plate. Not the same!
I probably will not attend the Grand Open but Thursday and I want to try the vegan White Castle in a box along with Basic White Castle no cheese please.

Portillo’s Orlando new to area is in the same parking lot... not certain about their delay in OPEN... but White Castle with a side of Chili Dog .

White Castle has a “love it”or “leave it”fan base lol. Having grown up with the restaurant in our area (actually have one right down the street from us) I am part of the “leave it” club. But, people seem to like the tiny little burgers with grilled onion and pickles. We even have a “White Castle Stuffing(Dressing)” recipe that people make for Thanksgiving around here. Just using the cut up burgers for the bread/meat base. I do think White Castle is something you should try at least once. Then you will know if you are a fan or not!

They took me to one for lunch and we all decided White Castles were not particularly good.

It was then that they realized that the only times they had ever eaten White Castles was after 2 am when the bars had closed...

FYI..... There is limit of 50 burgers per order. 50 !!!!!!!!! That's alot of eating.

It was then that they realized that the only times they had ever eaten White Castles was after 2 am when the bars had closed...

They showed it yesterday on our local news. I didn't realize all the different burger/chicken/fish options. And this location will serve beer/wine. And they serve breakfast too.

Growing up in NJ and now living near Detroit, I never knew White Castle was such a regional specialty. They're pretty good, very heavy on the onions, and way better than Krystal if that's what you're comparing it to.

No comparison. Krystal was terrible I tried it once...
I noticed that location near WDW is closed and just checked online...
Filed for bankruptcy...
Not sure I am ready for a fancy upscale White Castle.
But I will drive thru on way to WDW after Universal Studios eventually.

Krystal had the best drive through Buffalo Wings. That I will miss.
