Whitby Passport Office today

For anyone that hasn't got a passport yet and was wondering.......

I went to the Whitby passport office today (Thurs, July 2) to get passports for Me, DH, DD and DS. I arrived at 10:45 am and was in and out in 35 mins. They said passports will be done and in the mail by July 16th.....not bad!

Whitby can be a funny office. Some days they are backed up for hours & you return the next day to find no one. You were lucky.
I have used the Whitby office on more than one occasion and have had the passports within a week, so I would be surprised if it took as long as July 16.

I used the Whitby one also last week. around 2 pm. was out in 20 minutes. They said it would be mailed on the 9th.

I have to do DD's next week, so I'm hoping it will be quick there too.

We got DS's passport today and we applied last Monday. They told us it would take 10 days but it arrived in only 8. There were lots of people in the office but almost every window was open so we were in and out in 20 mins. We are still waiting for DD's passport, I guess the mail man will be calling again tomorrow. The McDonalds in the Whitby Mall plaza has been renovated lately so it made a good lunch spot with the kids before we headed home.
