I have heard some good reviews about Whispering Canyon and am debating whether to change one of my ADR from 1900 Park Fare Breakfast to a Whispering Canyon dinner.
My kids are not really breakfast eaters, so we were really only going for the atmosphere.... I am really torn. I am on the Dining PLan and really hate to waste a TS on a breakfast since I know my kids will hardly eat.

Is WC worth it? Please let me know your thoughts on it.:confused3

We had dinner at WC in October and it was one of our favorite dinners of the trip. The atmosphere was loud and rowdy, but very fun (we had a fantastic server). There was tons of food and it was very good! In fact we ate so much our server packed our desserts to go. An added bonus was they let us include milkshakes (which were awesome btw :thumbsup2) as our drink with the dining plan. Our kids aren't big breakfast eaters either. For us I would definitely do dinner at WC over a large breakfast.

I can agree with PP, we love WCC.

It is a must do dinner for us. DH says it is his favorite, he always gets the skillet and just eats until he is stuffed! LOL

I will admit I have fun there too, the food is tasty. I get the ribeye and it is so tender!

Definitely fans of WCC.

Another vote for WCC. We have been many times, and the food quality has been average to good on most occasions, 'great' on only one or two.

But, WCC is not all about the food. It's perhaps the funnest dinner for kids that WDW has. There will be plenty to keep the kids entertained.

*** I had to edit to remind everyone that WCC is one of very few restaurants at WDW that serves sweetened tea.

WCC was one of our favorites last year! We can't wait to go back! It is our 1st night dinner...

Best way to get your money's worth on the Dining Plan - Never. Eat. Breakfast.

I would recommend Whispering Canyon dinner for your family. The food isn't the best in the World, but the experience will surely make up for it.

Thanks everyone! I will defiantely cancel my 1900 Park Fare Breakfast and do the WCC dinner - can't wait now!:cheer2:

:thumbsup2 You really are making a wise decision....love the steaks and antics from the staff there.

I didn't think the food was very good. And, the endless milkshakes didn't taste very good either (we tried 3 flavors and didn't like any). We had a great table, but our server was WAY too busy to be bothered with us. The manager took his tip off and said there was no way we should tip for that kind of service (I had left 15% instead of 20% because of how bad he was). She ended up finding our bill and letting us leave because 2 hours into the meal, we couldn't get out of there. He just never showed up again. Plus, waiting for 15 minutes to see him at the start and get our drinks. Then, we would be sitting there with no drinks, except the yucky milkshakes, and no food. It was super frustrating. The other people in the restaurant looked to be having a very good time though, so it's worth a try. I just hope you don't get our waiter. But, he did seem to cater to the bigger tables he had and made it fun for them!

We LOVED:love: WCC on our last visit. The BBQ eggrolls were awesome! I had a pasta dish that was perfect and the dessert was pretty darn good too!! It was one of our favs. We will be heading back in Sept for round 2.:thumbsup2

We have been to the WCC twice and both times we had excellent service and a lot of fun. I have found our food to be good; it's not the best food I've had in WDW, but it was still good and have no complaints. WCC is always on our list of places to eat. :thumbsup2

My husband needs a lot to be impressed with restaurants (not so much me-I love just about anything as long as I am not cooking). We all love WWC. My husband frequently wants to go back there. We have always gotten the Family style rib dinner. It is a huge amount to eat and my kids always find something they like. The atmosphere is always great!!!

We loved WCC so much that last trip we ate there for our ADR on our 1st night and then a few nights later we went back for an unscehduled ADR! The kids LOVED it, we liked the food and the milkshakes were de-lish! The server we had on our unscheduled night even gave us 'take home' milkshakes to go!!!!!! She got an extra good tip!

sounds fun! I can't wait. Ketchup it is!
Not to mention, I am very excited to check out the Hotel. :)

WCC is a lot of fun, activities for the kids and Ketchup isn't the only trick up their sleeve. Watch it if you ask for too many refills.
