It's just such a fun restaurant. All of the shenanigans make it a very entertaining place to eat, which in some ways, can outweight the character breakfast idea. We ate there twice last year because we liked it so much.

Not sure that I would ask for another table. For some reason, I think that would be uncomfortable, for everyone. We loved it here (and it is a must-do on our next trip), but are more shy people, and I think the waiter honed in on that, and joked, but did not make us do anything that put us outside our comfort zone. The people I saw having the most fun were the ones that did not seem to know about some of the things they do there (genuinely asked for ketchup because they needed it and were really shocked when they wound up with wayyy too many). I think boards like this make some people expect certain things to happen, and not everyone's experience will be the same. I would just go, and not tell your DH or kids about what to expect, just that you heard it was a fun place. Then go with the flow, whatever happens, happens. Not every table can get 30 bottles of ketchup or 100 crayons brought to them, the joke would just get too old.

Because of threads like this I made an ADR for our upcoming trip. I am so glad I came back to this thread cause I wouldn't of known about the back room. I will have to make sure we are in the main section. This sounds like so much fun. I can't wait.

When we were at WCC in June, my mother-in-law was selected to give out the stick pony race certificates to all of the kids. Every kid in the restaurant lined up and filed past our table. It was my mother-in-law's first trip to the World, so it was pretty classic.

WCC is a don't miss in my mind. It's really a great place. We have dined there with and without the kids; it's always a good time.

BTW, if you get a CM who is not "into it" you will likely still enjoy watching everything going on around you.
