Hi all!
We'll be visiting during Spring Break (3/29-4/3) and currently have a reservation for dinner at Whispering Canyon. It was mentioned to me that during Christmas it was so busy there that the staff didn't do the normal antics you expect.

Has anybody else been to Whispering Canyon during a busy time of year (Christmas, Spring Break - pick your other most crowded time to visit) and what did you experience? TIA!

We were there in December (not over Christmas though) and the restaurant was packed (we waited about 20-30 minutes past our ADR time) and we still experienced the normal fun.

I have found that it is much more fun generally when there is a full restaurant. We have eaten there when the restaurant is somewhat empty and it is definitely harder for the servers to get the momentum of fun going. Ultimately it is the servers who make the fun and you won't know if it is a rowdy day or mild day until you get there.

We were there during thanksgiving week 2016 and we had a great experience. Restaurant was full and they did all of their normal antics.

As others have said, it's better with more antics when it's busy.

We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning back in mid-November. Place was nearly dead. Our server tried hard, but he was struggling with it, due to virtually no other tables in the restaurant to interact with.
