If we order this for dinner and get milkshakes, do we still get a dessert with our meal? TIA

Yes. But unless things have changed you do not get to order what you want for dessert they bring you out a few little samples of what they offer. All of them are disgusting.

My husband and son did this when we were there in November. They each had a milkshake, the skillet and a chosen dessert from the dessert menu.

"The Dessert Sampler Platter has been removed from the "all you care to enjoy" platter and replaced with a salad. This was very disappointing. The salad was just OK but dessert is always better.
We asked why? He said it was because they were wasting dessert because so many people would ask for and then not eat them."

Is this then not accurate? THANKS

This is correct, dessert is no longer included with the all you care to enjoy platter. For those on the dining plan, dessert is included with the plan and you can pick your dessert from the menu.

The above statement about wasting the desserts is very true. Most went into the trash. When it was included with the platter, most tables would say to bring it even though they were stuffed from dinner because they felt like they already paid for it, take one or two bites and leave the rest.
