When I booked my PS ressies for this restaurant, I did not tell them that DH and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary because I was afraid of what they might do! We are going here on our arrival night, so I was not sure what kind of mood DH would be in. Do they truly embarrass you if you are celebrating a special occassion? I am ready for a night of fun (extra large drinks, ketchup situations, etc), but I was unsure of what would happen if they knew about our anniversary. If someone could shed some light on this subject, it would be greatly appreciated.

I guess it would depend on your definition of "embarrassment". When I ate there no one in our party was celebrating anything special and we still got more than enough attention from our servers. I guess it could be considered embarrassing/annoying if you aren't in the mood for it. We had a blast though and thought it was all hillarious and in good fun. If you don't want any kind of attention or good natured fun from the waitstaff I'd suggest mentioning it to the host/hostess when you check in. It's a very fun, rowdy restaurant.

We had dinner @ WC one night (during our anniversary trip), we didn't say anything about it, but my cousin joined us w/ her family and they said something to our waitress. She didn't make a big commotion, I think she knew we were "shy" and gets embarassed, so she just shouted that we were celebrating our anniversay, everyone clapped and at the end of dinner she brought out a chocolate cake for all of us.

That was it, nothing too bad. I think they're good, they know when you're shy about things and they respect that. (And we're REALLY SHY, but we eat there all the time!!!) We enjoyed it, and it's all in fun!
