Whispering Canyon or Ohana???

I can't decide on which one to do. We only have time for one. My DH would love the food at both places, I however do not eat shrimp and am not a fan of asian food.
I like the idea of O'hana with the entertainment but I probably would eat the kid's meal. We are not doing the DDP.
We have never been to either. Also, we have never been to Wilderness Lodge and would like to see it. But I also would like to go to the Poly at night and see the electric water parade and torch lighting. Also, I love the gift shop at the poly . My ds 6 would just eat the kid's meal too and he doesn't care either way.

Anyone been to both??? What did you think? Which is more "fun"?

oh wow, what a hard choice! personally we enjoy Ohana more but that is b/c we love the Poly so much!! The view of Wishes and the ewp etc. is just beautiful. the entertainment during Ohana is a lot of fun!! WCC is as well, but just totally different We ate at WCC Christmas day and it was fantastic and fun. Ok...I'll vote Ohana but I really think you'll be very happy with either!

I loved O'hana's, we ate there in November for Breakfast and Dinner and I thought the atmosphere was great both times and the food was very good! I am returning in August and we are going to try Whispering Canyon! I heard the food is good and the antics are very funny...I really think you can not go wrong with either...have a great trip!

Having done both on more than 1 occassion, I would have to say WCC! I like the atmosphere better...and the antics are a lot of fun. I did however enjoy Ohana's as well. You won't go wrong with either one!

I like Ohana alot. But I LOVE WCC!

I love the atmosphere and the waiters/waitresses.
I ate at both last year and enjoyed Ohana but not near as much as WCC.

And you are still able to see the Water Pagent at the WL around 9:35 (i think) and they have a nice giftshop also. And you can't beat the WL lobby.

We love 'Ohana and are returning there on this trip.

We do not like WCC. We've had three different dinners there (we gave it a fair shot!), and of those, only one had good service and good food. The most recent one (in 2006) was disappointing in the service and food department. My kids even do not like it.

Having said that, if you won't like the food at 'Ohana, then I'm not sure why you'd go there.

Ohanas!!! After trying it several trips ago, it's now "MUST DO" for us. The food is great and my kids love the games & coconut roll antics. I am not a bread pudding fan (typically can't stand it!) but the bread pudding at Ohanas is to-die-for! I'd go there solely for that! My DH LOVES the food at Ohanas!

I am so torn as to which one to go too. They both sound fun and everyone seems to like them both the same.
