Whispering Canyon or Liberty Tree

No kids, its just for our honeymoon, but my DH is very child like, so I think he would get a kick out of WCC. Also I am thinking the boat ride over would be romantic. I am really thinking WCC, just hope I am making the right choice.

Thanks!

I have never done LTT (plan to this coming trip) but WCC is pretty good, especially with kids.

Unfortunately they seem to always forget to put ketchup on the table, so be sure to ask for some.

Definitely the WCC. The LTT is nothing but frozen foods you can get at home. But, when you realize who is it sponsored by, it's no wonder. It was ok when you needed a place in the magic kingdom and it was a character dinner, but definitely not worth the price anymore.

I prefer whispering Canyon the food is good at least most of it was. This is not 5 star dining so you'll get the naysayers that will point you to disney 2t restaurants only. But if I was looking for fine dining I'd be at VA lol. Anyhow I think I liked the ribs but not the meat maybe don't remember but I know there was one item I really liked. But it was also a fun and entertaining dining experience. Very kid friendly but most importantly I'd get an early adr so you can walk around the resort after you've eaten and enjoy yourself. We had a late adr and it was wasteful in that there was so much food and I ate very little because I didn't want to go to bed full.

To Op who got bad meat. I would have told your wait staff and asked for it to be replaced. Restaurants don't know what they are doing wrong unless you tell them.

We went to dinner at WCC when we were there for our honeymoon and both really enjoyed it. All-you-care-to-eat bbq and milkshakes? Yes please! :) Plus, the Wilderness Lodge is really beautiful and romantic to walk around. We have never been to LTT, so this is definitely a biased response :rotfl:.

Haha I already know that trick, but the soon to be hubby doesnt (hehe evil laughter)! :lmao:

I've eaten at both & I prefer WCC, hands-down. Their bbq selection is really yummy & their freshly made sides are delicious! For us the antics have always been fun, but not too over the top.

Really? It is sponsored by a frozen food company? Who? Is it Swanson's or something? I could totally taste that it was frozen food. It was completely disappointing. :sad2:

I would also vote WCC. I have 2 kids 4 and 15, and though the food was good at LT, and a bit more subdued, only 1 very small bathroom. At WCC our server was hilarious and we basically laughed all thru dinner. The hotel is beautiful, and the little boat ride over from MK was a nice touch. Definately not a quiet place, though, but a lot of fun.

We really enjoy WCC and make it a must on every trip. We like the platter they serve on xmas day and we like to sit in the quiet area. WL is so beautiful during the holidays.
