Whispering canyon or Liberty tree?

Liberty tree or WCC?

  • Liberty tree (more convienient)

  • WCC (appealing menu and fun restaurant)

I would rather eat at WCC. Lunch is not as eventful as dinner so you would lose some atmosphere, but you could walk down to the dock at WL and ride the boat back to MK. That is fun to do if you have not done it. What about lunch on the monorail loop at kona or ohana or chef they would be a little easier and have great food. Check out those menus if you havent and see if they interest you. We love WCC in this house. go there every time.

So it seems like most of you are saying LTT, but then again when I see the poll results, its an even tie....Oh no! What to do!

I have wanted to try WCC for a few years, but like most of you are saying, it may be too much trouble to leave MK and too time consuming which is why I was am leaning toward LTT....

I really wish I could do dinner at WCC anyway, but I am doing quite a few signatures which only do dinner...and a few others like Ohana, so all my dinner slots are full.

Personally I've only eaten dinner & Liberty Tree and the food has sometimes been good , other times way overdone & dead. A lot of people seem to like lunch there but I've never eaten lunch. In general I find the food choices at WCC more appealing although the antics can be a bit much sometimes. If I were to choose between the two I would pick WCC for the food. Only you can decide if it is worth taking the time to travel to & from the park to eat lunch elsewhere.

I didn't find anything appealing about WC. I thought it was way too noisy! Service was very good, food good too, just too noisy for me.

Are you limited to those 2 choices? Because I'd honestly say neither appeals to me.

I'd go to The Wave or Ohana.

We just ate at WCC on Sunday and had a lot of fun. I loved the food but DH said it was too salty!

If your post had allowed, I would have voted "other" but as it was, I voted LTT. Our one experience with WCC was disappointing at best. No fun "antics" from the servers at all and the food was mediocre. And yes, it took way more time away from the park than we would have liked.

ahhh thank you!!! :)

OMG! Where in Jax are you?! That's AWESOME!

I'm in Orange Park, near the OP mall!

It would have to be for lunch. I already have dinner scheduled for every night. Ohana only does dinner and the menu at the Wave would not work for my family. I really wanted to try something different. I have already been to most of the TS restaurants in MK, and honestly, I don't care for most of them. I prefer resort restaurants over MK restaurants, but I've never tried LTT.

Though I love the WCC its just not worth it to leave the park (even though of all the resorts, WL is one of the most convienient to the MK) to eat lunch.

Liberty Tree's food is decent, and the service was awesome last time we ate there.

We love love love Whispering Canyon! It's become a "must do" for us since our first visit. The best thing about it is the atmosphere. The servers are hilarous and who can't love what happens when you ask for ketchup? Something we've discovered that makes it even better is the huge skillet that you can order for one table service credit on the dining plan. More food than you could ever eat... because it's all you CAN eat. Mmmmm just thinking about it is making my mouth water.

I went to Liberty Tree Tavern awhile ago and I remember it being alright, but I can't really remember too much. I went to WCC two years ago and it was pretty good food and a lot of fun! And not to mention the Wilderness Lodge is a great place to walk around. I voted for WCC.

LuvLuvLuv, you have clearly taken advantage of this thread, but i like the way your mind works, lol. There is strength in Numbers, so I say we ask for everything but the kitchen si...well, you know what I mean.

I am adding lunch to my Disney Food Bucket list or DFBL if you prefer. *My 2nd last meal at lunch will consist of the following

A bucket of Popcorn on Main St with a Frozen Coke from Tomorrowland for a snack/appetizer
A Turkey Club (no tomato) from Earl *of Sandwich, with Lemonsde Tea and a brownie
Butterscotch Creme Brûlée Corral Reef.

And. While I am at it, breakfast. That's easy, 1900 Park Fair, best Breakfast Buffet ever. The Mad Hatter better be aware that I have nothing to lose, if he starts bugging me.*

That is a lot of food for
