Whispering Canyon or Liberty Tree for Lunch

Which would you prefer & why? I should mention that this is a solo meal on the dining plan.

Hands down LTT. We've been to both but LTT is sooooo good for lunch. I would go there for their budder griddled pound cake with vanilla ice cream alone. Out of this world!! Their sandwiches are pretty good, the one I had was fairly small (The sandwich heard round the world) but the ones my parents had were large (The Tri-corner) we all agreed it was delicious. Just an FYI if you order the sandwich heard round the world, nothing comes with it. Just the sandwich. I got a house salad that was pretty good too. My mom got the clam chowder (it was a rainy cold day in December) and she said it was delicious. Also the only place that serves sweet tea in all of WDW! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will be heading back there for lunch again this year (went there for dinner before and was very disappointed).

WCC isn't my thing. We've been there twice but the food was mediocre and the service was slow and unfriendly both times. Not to mention it's very loud there (not just from the antics~as there weren't any done when we were there~but the restaurant in general was loud).

I think it depends where you are. WCC is fun even solo, but if you are at MK then it takes a lot of time out to go there.

The food at LTT is probably better quality wise.

The apple tart at LTT is worth it! I got a request from the family to have lunch here on our last day.

I like them both and feel you could not go wrong here. But if I am being forced to choose I would pick LTT. Just so you do not have the time wasted in travel.

I just love the atmosphere of LLT and enjoy the food. The Salmon dish is a favorite for lunch WWC is just alittle to loud for my liking.

I voted for WCC, ONLY b/c I was thinking of their bottomless milkshakes at the moment! We really liked LTT for dinner, and did enjoy WCC too, but for WCC dinner I was so full from all the other food on teh trip that I just ordered the shake and ate some of my DH's food. Hmmm, maybe I didn't vote fairly, but hey, a few shakes for lunch sounds good to me!

I chose WCC. I wasn't impressed with LLT.
And you would get some great people watching at WCC.

Thanks everyone for your input. I've dined at both and liked them, but now I can't decide on which one. I will be at the Magic Kingdom that day, so it may be easier to dine at LTT, but I also wanted to get some pictures at the Wilderness Lodge of their decorations. After lunch, I was planning on heading back to my resort for a break, then off to another park.

I've been to both and think that both are great, but if you'll be at MK that day, I'd stick with LTT. It's good food and peaceful at lunch. The best part is the pound cake. I can almost taste it now.
