Whispering Canyon from AK?

I saw a few pictures of the All-You-Care-To-Enjoy meal at Whispering Canyon and I'm thinking I would like to add that to my list of ADRs. My question is, I started looking at my excel sheet (we are trying to have no more than 1 ADR a day.... we are not going to be on the dining plan) and I was just wondering how easy/hard it is to get to the Whispering Canyon from AK? I want to stay at Animal Kingdom until about 1:15ish and make our ressies at 2, (we will just have a late breakfast) and then if we haven't finished at AK finish after lupper at Whispering Canyon.

Is it far or hard to get there from AK? It says it is at the Wilderness Lodge, do we just take a bus there?

You can take a bus directly there from AK. But it's not a short ride. It'll take about 15 to 20 minutes just for the drive depending on traffic, and then you have to add time to wait for the bus.

I don't know whether or not the AK bus to WL also stops at Blizzard Beach. If it does, you may want to add some time if Blizzard Beach is open when you're traveling.

Yes, the bus can get you from AK to WL. I'd start walking out of the park at 1pm. It's always good to allow time just in case you wait awhile for a bus. I believe it's a direct route, too, or at least the first stop. Allow for some time before or after your meal to explore the resort. It is beautiful there; it's our favorite hotel in WDW! Have fun - friends of ours were there 2 weeks ago and they had a blast!

P.S. Don't forget to ask for some ketchup.

hmmmm We are going to Blizzard Beach on Sat. the 10th, I wonder if maybe we could just hit it up for lunch that day? So can we ride the bus from Blizzard Beach to there?

Another random question, do you think we could be done at Blizzard Beach by 1 or so? If we get there early? hehe swimming does make us hungry!!!
