We are arriving at MCO at 2:00 PM on a Satuday in August. I am sure it will be around 4 by the time we are at WL and checked in. I know we will be hungry - it will have been a long time since breakfast! and I had planned on grabbing a quick CS at Roaring Fork and then heading to MK just to see the castle and get aquainted with the park. Now I am thinking that WCC might be fun - I hadn't planned on eating there - but I know that the girls will see all the fun being had and ask to join in! Should I make ADR"s for arrival night (early - 5ish) or no?

There's no downside to making an ADR at Whispering Canyon. You won't be charged if you choose not to show up. I think it's courteous, though, to call and cancel so that the phantom reservation doesn't cause someone else to wait unnecessarily.

I think that would be a great idea. I would say to make the ressie maybe 6 instead, so this will buy a little time.

WCC is fun, but be prepared for the fun and games. The cast was a riot when we ate there before. We are 2 adults and we had to ride around the restaurant on stick horses and sing, "You are my sunshine" slightly humbling, but still funnier than heck.

I think it would be a fun way to jump into a vacation.

Thanks for the info! It sounds fun - I will definately try and eat there during our stay since we are staying at WL!!!
