WHispering Canyon Cafe??

I read somewhere that they do hobby horse races at the Whispering Canyon Cafe to entertain the kids. Has anyone seen this. Do they do this during lunch, too? We are planning to go there for lunchone day to check out the Christmas decorations while we are there. I'm hoping this will be a fun lunch for the kids!

yes, they do stick horse races at WCC. since they do them at breakfast and dinner, i would think they also do them at lunch.

We've gone for breakfast and dinner, I dont know about lunch.

The kids all grab a horse, the CM yells "GO!" and they circle the resturaunt while diners wave napkins. All participants take an oath and get a certificate.

We've stay at the WL many times. Had both breakfast and dinner at WC and there is a lot of fun going on.

Walking by WC at lunch time it appears much more quiet.

We had a blast at Whispering Canyon Cafe. We have it planned for this year since we haven't been in a few years. Last time we went over we did lunch (they did have the races then) and we were a little tired after running over to the resort and getting back to MK. We have since made the rule that we only eat lunch at our park for that day and if we want to eat at a restaurant outside the park we only go for dinner before going back to the resort.

Melanie C, I know what you mean about rushing around and timing. On the day we are going to MVMCP, we are planning on sleeping in, hanging around the hotel, driving over to the WL for lunch heading back tot he hotel to relax and then heading to MK for dinner and MVMCP so hopefully that will work out. W'ell have a car so I think it will be pretty easy to do. Hopefully!
