I would love to read some recent reviews of the Whispering Canyon Cafe. We are thinking of eating there for our first night. My girls are 12, 12 and 7.

How was the food, the atmosphere and would you go there again?

Also, anyone know the best way to get their from Port Orleans Riverside?

Thank you!

Never been so can't really help but just thought i'd say we are also staying at POR & eating at the Whispering Canyon Cafe our first full day. We've heard only wonderful things about it and I think it sounds like a perfect first dinner!

Haven't been there yet, but we have ADR for our upcoming trip. According to the OLP transportation wizard it looks like you would take the boat from MK to WL....however it looks like it is a 40 minute trip. I've attached the link, not sure which park you will be at that day but you can enter in your starting point and then to Wilderness Lodge.

We are going to try it for the first time in Oct...the menu looks good. If you have your own car it is very close, we just stayed at OKW (next to the POFQ) and we drove to the Poly...took about 5 minutes.

We went on our last trip per the advice of so many disers. I highly, highly, highly recommend it. It was a great meal and the kids will love the atmosphere. All kinds of fun silly things happen and I am a fun loving silly kinda gal. It was such a great time that we are going again in November.

Have a great trip!

We always go to WCC for lunch or dinner when we are at the WDW. My hubby and I love it and the food is quite good.

I posted some photos in this thread from a while ago if you'd like to read it...

Its always a do not miss for us. We are a "fun, everyday is an adventure" sort of family and have fun no matter what is going on. I just think life is too short not to enjoy everyday. I hope you enjoy your meal there....:)

We ate there once. All I can say is be prepared to sing for your meal if your server asks you to;)

This isn't recent but my family had such a great time here.
We all still talk about it.
And the food was good too!!
